Saint Martins Engineering College was founded in 2002 in Secunderabad, Telangana, and was approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institution is in affiliation with JNTU, Hyderabad. SMEC is said to be one of the best engineering institutions, established in 2002. The institute maintains the quality of education and offers the best technical education to its students. SMEC covers an area of 17 acres and is surrounded by a beautiful green landscape in a pollution-free zone. It has 20 years of outstanding academic record and is also ranked in the top 20 engineering institutions of Telangana. In addition, It has been ranked 251 among the Top Engineering Colleges by NIRF 2020.

SMCE is an ISO-approved institute, and its placement cell has succeeded in getting the best recruiters from several MNC. In addition, the placement cell also provides training to the students to assist them in enhancing their technical skills and personality. SMCE has various facilities for its students like Gym, ATM, 24/7 Medical aid, Free Wifi, E-learning, Hostel, Laboratory, Library, etc.

SMCE B.Tech Eligibility

Admissions to the B Tech course in St. Martins Engineering College is open to students who-

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 from any recognized board can apply for B Tech admission at SMCE.
  • Must have at least scored an aggregate of 45% in Maths and Physics, with any English as their core subject.

SMCE B.Tech Selection Criteria

  • The selection of students in Saint Martins College will solely depend on their TS EAMCET rank.
  • College reserves 30% seats reserved for B-category/ Management Quota, 70% seats to the EAMCET merit students
  • 20% intake based on ECET merit (B Tech lateral entry scheme) In addition, candidates who have completed a diploma course for two years to be eligible for B Tech lateral.
  • Candidates seeking admission under Category A/Convenor Quota at SMCE have to apply through EAMCET Counselling. Additionally, candidates must satisfy the cut off norms defined by the admission authority.

SMCE M.Tech Admission

SMCE offers one specialization course, i.e., Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, for two years.

  • In addition, SMCE has qualified faculty for its M.Tech program that teaches modern and traditional techniques in the best way possible. The total intake capacity for this program is 18.
  • SMCE Eligibility- Candidates must score a minimum of 60% in their B Tech Degree or any equivalent degree. 5% of relaxation is applicable for SC/ST Category. 
  • SMCE M.Tech Selection Criteria- is based on Gate and PGECET score and rankings. During the seat allotment process, the first preference will be given for GATE qualifiers.

SMCE MBA Admission

 SMCE offers MBA Program at the PG level. The current intake of students in MBA is 120. In addition, SMCE offers one core specialization in MBA, i.e., in Human Resources. The MBA Department has 16 highly qualified faculty members with excellence in teaching.

  • To be eligible for MBA admission at SMCE, candidates shall have completed a bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The selection of the candidates is based on the TS ICET score. Thus, applicants have to register online for TS ICET to undertake the exam.
  • Here, 70% of seats will be filled based on ICET merit. And, seats are reserved for 30% for Management/ NRI candidates

Application Forms

  • Candidates who wish to apply to SMCE must visit the college’s official website and search for the admission form on the notice board.
  • The candidates must then download the form and fill in all the mandatory information.
  • The candidates must also submit all the mandatory documents along with the application form.
  • However, candidates applying under the merit category/convenor quota must register for the respective entrance exam. Then, through counselling, final seat allocation takes place.

B-Tech admissions at St. Martins College are based on 10+2 with TS EAMCET scores. The applications will be accepted in offline mode. Students must fill in the form manually and then pay the form fees of INR 2000 in DD format.
