St. Xavier College of Engineering locates in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Established in 1998, SXCCE is affiliated with Anna University and got its approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. SXCEE is accredited with an 'A' Grade by NAAC and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, computer applications, and management. In addition, the college provides BE/B Tech at the UG level and MBA, MCA, M Tech at the PG level.

St. Xavier Catholic College of Engineering BE/B Tech admission:

SXCCE offers a full-time Bachelors in Engineering (BE) course under five different specializations, Electrical & Electronics Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The course spread is four years and eight semesters.

  • Candidates aspiring to take admission in the BE course at SXCCE must have passed the 10+2 exam from any recognized board of education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as the mandatory subjects. Candidates who have B.Sc or Diploma degree in engineering by SBTE Tamil Nadu can apply for lateral entry in the program.
  • The final admission of candidates in the BE course at SXCCE would be based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling.
  • TNEA ranks are based on marks obtained by students in the 12th exam. Therefore candidates have to get a minimum of 50% marks as their minimum eligibility criteria.

  • The Candidates seeking admission in the ME course SXCCE must undergo an entrance test, TANCET, conducted by Anna University.
  • Candidates who have secured valid scores in GATE are also eligible to apply for TANCET.
  • In addition, candidates must score minimum of 50% aggregate marks at the UG level.

  • This is a full-time on-campus course with a duration of 2 years and four semesters. Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses at SXCCE candidates have to undertake the entrance exam TANCET conducted by Anna University.
  • The scores of national level entrance exams, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT, are also accepted.
  • Candidates must have a Bachelors's degree in any stream from any UGC/AIU-approved university. The total intake of candidates in the MBA course at SXCCE is 60.

Please clarify the admissions and fees structure

St Xavier Catholic College will offer admission to the B Tech through TNEA Rank, followed by Anna University's Counselling. To apply for TNEA Counselling, students shall have passed in 10+2 with a 50% average in PCM Subjects. B Tech fees at SXCCE cost nearly INR 50k per annum. Whereas the total fees for four years expense up to INR 2 Lakh.

  • Fee structure for B.Tech at St. Xavier Catholic College of Engineering is approximately INR 40000/- per annum. 
  • Total fee structure at St. Xavier Catholic College of Engineering is approximately INR 160000/- for the complete course. 
  • St. Xavier Catholic College of Engineering provides various scholorships to meritorious and deserving students.
