SVCE is located in Bangalore and was established in 2001. It is accredited by Govt. of Karnataka and affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. SVCE offers its students different courses at UG and PG levels.  SVCE is much more than just teaching its students. They are also driven by the idea of helping their students find their path to success. They can achieve this by focusing on their students' personal development on their academic results. It has a faculty strength of about 150 members and the 36th level National Ranking. It has been ranked 26th to 50th by the ARIIA. SVCE offers admission to the B Tech at the UG level. At the same time, SVCE offers admission to the PG courses in M Tech & MBA.

SVCE offers its students BE in 4 different types of specializations. Candidates must meet the SVCE B Tech eligibility requirements before applying for an admission seat. Check out the intake capacity for each branch.

Required Eligibility Criteria

  • Aspirants must have cleared the 12th Std or equivalent exam with English as a compulsory language.
  • Students must have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate in PCM as an optional subject to be eligible for SVCE B.Tech Admission.
  • While students from the reserved category will have a 5% of relaxation in aggregate marks (Applicable only for the Karnataka Domicile Students)

Selection Criteria

  • Admission to the SVCE B.Tech program is based on a score acquired in COMEDK or KCET, followed by state-level counseling. The SVCE KCET Code is E111, and COMEDK Code is E137.
  • Candidates have to undergo state level entrance test that is KCET and qualify with a valid rank as equivalent or within the SVCE's B Tech cut-off rank.
  • Non-Karnataka students have to appear for COMEDK Entrance Test. The seat allocation takes place through the counseling phases.
  • Students looking for B Tech Management Quota admission at SVCE have to satisfy the minimum eligibility norms defined by the college.

SVCE M.Tech Admission

SVCE offers its students a post-graduation qualification in M. Tech. in 4 different types of specializations, having a capacity of about 24 seats each.

  • For the M. Tech courses at SVCE, aspirants must have a recognized B. Tech /BE degree and a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Admission to the M.Tech Course at SVCE shall be based on the rank/score in PGCET and is followed by state counseling.
  • Aspirants having a valid GATE score are not required to appear for the PGCET exam.
  • After qualifying in the PGCET Entrance Test, candidates undergo state-level counseling to secure admission under the government quota.
  • The seat allocation takes place based on PGCET Rank and Choice of preferences. Moreover, students must satisfy the cut-off norms to be eligible.
  • For M Tech Management Quota at SVCE, students must download the SVCE application form available on the college's website.

SVCE MBA Admission

SVCE offers its students an MBA course with three different types of specializations and a total intake of 60 seats.

  • For the MBA courses at SVCE, aspirants will have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
  • Admission to the MBA course at SVCE shall be made based on rank/score acquired in PGCET and is followed by state counseling.

Candidates willing to apply under the government quota must apply through KCET/PGCET Counselling conducted by KEA. Thus, applicants can visit the website of KEA to fill out the online application form. Those candidates seeking Admission under Management Quota can visit the college's website to download the SVCE application form.

I am pursuing MBA course at Venkateshwara college and I like to say education wise fee is reasonable. Sri Venkateshwara College Of Engineering admission for MBA course will be actually offered on the basis of KPGCET valid score and the VCE application fee costs around INR 750

I am doing final year BE at SVCE and I am from CSE branch. Sri Venkateshwara College Of Engineering admissions for BE will be given on the basis of entrance exam. I secured KCET Entrance Exam with good score and then I attended counseling and through optional I choosed this college then I got seat allotment over here. SVCE application fee costs INR 750
