  • SNCET offers ME specializations such as Structural Engineering and Thermal Engineering.
  • Admission to the ME/M Tech at SNCET is made based on GATE/ TANCET exam scores.
  • Candidates seeking admission must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation.
  • A merit list will be prepared based on the scores of the GATE/ TANCET entrance exam.

Admission to BE and ME courses in Tamil Nadu is done based on TNEA counselling and the TANCET merit list, respectively. Guidelines prescribed by Anna University, Chennai, need to be followed. Candidates have to register themselves on the official website.

  • A TNEA merit list based on 10+2 scores will be generated for the BE students through which their admission will be made. The final seat allocation takes place through TNEA Counselling.
  • For ME, MCA and MBA students, TANCET exam scores will be valid. Admission will be made on the merit list prepared by these scores.
