SLBS Engineering College is a part of the SLBS Education Group. The college was established in the year 2008. It is associated with RTU, Kota. The campus locates in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. SLBS college is the only engineering college in Rajasthan State, selected by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre to establish TDC. (Technology Dissemination Centre) It also has signed MOU with the Cairn Centre of Excellence. Here, engineering students undergo 60 days of training. For offering international internship programs, SLBSEC has signed MOU with AIESEC. In terms of placement assistance, SLBSEC strives to impart ample job opportunities to students. It holds a 100% placement rate. At SLBSEC, deserving students can avail merit scholarships based on their academic performance.

  • SLBSEC offers B Tech at the UG Level. It is a full-time course offered for two years. The intake for B Tech is 120 seats. AICTE approves the B Tech offered by SLBS.
  • The B Tech specializations offered by SLBSEC are Civil, CSE, Electrical, ECE, Mechanical, and Petroleum Engineering.
  • Aspirants who have qualified in the 12th exam with 45% marks can seek admission into B Tech at SLBS College. They must have studied science stream in 12th level. PCM as main Subjects.
  • For SC/ST Category, there will be a 5% of relaxation in aggregate marks. Those students can obtain at least 40% in the 12th level.
  • The selection process for B Tech at SLBSEC is based on JEE Main Rank. Students have to attend for JEE Main and clear it with a good score equivalent to the SLBS's College JEE Main Cut.
  • Students with valid JEE Main Rank can participate in REAP Counselling. For that, students need to register online for REAP. RTU will hold the counseling phases in offline mode.
  • It is helpful for the students to seek admission under government quota through REAP Counselling. Students seeking admission under the management quota at SLBSEC have to fill the separate application form through the college website.
  • SLBSEC also offers admission to the B Tech Lateral. Here, students can seek admission for second year B Tech.
  • Students who have done their diploma with a minimum qualifying mark can seek B Tech Lateral admission at SLBS College.
  • B Tech application forms of SLB College are available on the official website. Students have to fill an application form via online mode.

Aspirants who completed a diploma from the relevant stream are eligible to apply for a direct second year. Through REAP score followed by counselling and availability of seats in the college B Tech lateral admission for the desired course is available.

ITI passed can I take admissions for BE

ITI passed students will have a chance to get admission in Engineering Diploma course in polytechnics but not to any engineering course or engineering lateral entry. For seeking admissions to B.Tech in SLBS Engineering College candidates must have completed class 12th and that of for B.Tech lateral entry candidates need to be diploma passed.
