SJBIT is a constituent Institute of BGS and SJB Group of Institution and Hospitals. It was established in 2001 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust with only three departments. Within a few years of establishment, the Institute grew into a standard Institution providing technical education. SJBIT is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated with VTU, Belagavi Karnataka. The College has been recognized by UGC and accredited A by NAAC.

Therefore, the Institute provides UG and PG courses in engineering and management. In addition, it offers BE, M. Tech, and MBA courses in various disciplines to candidates with eligible marks. Admission for offered courses will be through entrance exam scores, academics, and counseling performance. Admission is based on K CET, COMEDK, and KPGCET entrance exams conducted by Karnataka Govt.

SJB Institute of Technology B. Tech Admission 

  • SJBIT offers six disciplines under B. Tech course for four years to candidates with eligible marks to apply.
  • The Intake for the B. Tech course at SJNIT will be 720 students per academic year per subject, respectively.
  • The Eligibility for B. Tech at SJBIT is that candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as major subjects.
  • The Selection criteria for B. Tech at SJBIT, students must have cleared KCET and COMEDK entrance exams.
  • Candidates must meet the Cut-off scores for B. Tech at SJBIT to get admission to the desired programs.  
  • Candidates who are residents of Karnataka must appear in the KCET entrance exam to get admission to the B. Tech program.
  • Candidates applying from other states will have to appear for the COMEDK entrance exam for admission.
  • KCET provides seats for the Government quota, and COMEDK provides seats for the Management quota.
  • For the Management quota, admission at SJBIT will be provided online and offline.
  • Applicants seeking admission through the Management quota must fill out the application form online or download the application form from the College website.
  • Candidates must pay the application fees of Rs 500/- through cash or by sending a DD in favor of the College.
  • The candidates will have to send the application form to the Institute to submit online.

SJB Institute of Technology M. Tech Admission 

  • SJBIT provides an M. Tech course with six disciplines for two academic years to candidates with qualifying marks.
  • The annual Intake for M. Tech at SJBIT will be 108 students as per the requirements of the College.
  • Candidates seeking admission for the M. Tech course at SJBIT must have cleared the qualifying (BE/B.Tech) examination with 50% marks in all the semesters.

  • The College of SJBIT provides applicants with an MBA program for two academic years.
  • SJBIT annual Intake for the MBA program will be 120 seats per academic year.

The charge is the equal for every and every scholar in my class, as admission will simplest be granted on the idea of COMEDK and there could be no direct admission to our college. I have completed my B.Tech mechanical Engineering course, and I propose that if every body is looking for a direction of mechanical engineering, this faculty can be fine.

Hi Kala,

The minimum eligibility criteria is that student must have cleared their HSC exam with valid percentile of 45% from any reputed board. Selection will be on the basis on KCET score, COMEDK UGET score and also based on merit score. The total fees will be around INR 2.13L for the complete 4 years B.Tech course.

The total fee structure for MBA

  • Almost INR 2 lakhs for 2 years for management quota.
  • Almost INR 1 lakh for 2 years through councelling.
  • Candidates should have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than 50%. In the case candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Cat-1, get relaxation of 5%.
  • Admission is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.
