  • Candidates must obtain a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCM subjects in 10+12 from a recognized board. Whereas students belonging to SC/ST (Reserved Category) can obtain at least 40% as minimum eligibility.

Candidates seeking admission for M.E/M.TECH at Shivaji College should satisfy the following Eligibility criteria, as prescribed by Anna University.

  • Sivaji College of Engineering and Technology offers admission in three specializations: Computer Science Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, and Communication Systems. The annual intake for M Tech is 18 seats.
  • Admission for the M Tech program is based on TANCET Score. Thus candidates have to clear this state level entrance exam and score according to the Shivaji College’s TANCET Cut off criteria.
  • In addition, candidates must obtain a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCM subjects in 10+12 from a recognized board.

Shivaji College of Engineering and Technology Application Process

Specific standard policies and procedures have been laid out to make it convenient for the students seeking admission to SCET courses.

  • Applications forms and information brochures can be obtained from the office on payment of Rs 200.
  • Duly filled-in application forms should be sent to the office, and a photostat copy of the mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
  • The college authorities will process the applications and provisionally select the students based on merit (and after conducting an interview, if necessary).
  • Admission letters will be sent to the selected candidates intimating the dates on which they should report to the admission office with the necessary documents in original and remit the prescribed fee.
  • By registering the application, the candidate must have appeared in all the qualifying examinations.
  • Candidates who have not satisfied the rules fixed by the Anna University / AICTE at the time of admission will not be considered, and their registration will automatically be cancelled.
