Shankarrao Chavan Law College was incepted in the year 1967 and was established by the former Home Minister of India. It is situated in Pune, Maharashtra, and is affiliated with the Savirtribai Phule Pune University. It has also got reorganization from Bar Council of India as it offers courses under Legal Studies courses. There are courses like BA-LLB and LLB courses along with LLM and diploma programs offered in 6 specializations.

  • The BA-LLB course is an integrated and five-year long-duration program for which the candidates who should have passed the 10+2 examination from the recognized board of HSC will be eligible to take SCLC, Pune admissions.
  • Any graduation degree holder passed with minimum marks will be eligible for taking admission for the LLB course. Applicants seeking admission for LLM must have completed a BA-LLB or LLB course from any recognized board or university.
  • Shankarrao Chavan Law College admission for diploma courses will be provided for graduate degree holders. The MAH CET Law is an entrance exam that must be qualified from all the students seeking for BA-LLB or LLB program.
  • Candidates who clear this MHT-CET Law will have to appear for the counseling process held for seat allotment in colleges and conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. The admission to LLM and diploma course shall be made on a merit-based as per the admission norms given by the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The mode of application for the LLB program at SCLC will accept online applications. Applicants must visit the official website and fill in the form, upload necessary docs, and pay form fees to complete the process.

Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any field are eligible to apply for the LLB programme. NRIs and international students with valid diplomas from any accredited university in their home country are also qualifying. Applicants must take the MAH-CET law entrance exam and engage in CAP therapy conducted by the Maharashtra DTE. A candidate's academic merit and entrance exam score are considered for provision LLB admission to Shankarrao Chavan Law College.

Basically, in Shankarrao Chavan Law College, admissions for LLB courses are provided based on the MH CET LAW Entrance Exam. To get eligible, candidates must clear the entrance exam with a valid score as per the cut-off eligibility criteria. After qualifying in the entrance test, qualified candidates must participate in the counseling which DTE, Maharashtra will conduct.
