Passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category)

Candidates will be selected based on the merit of the NEET examination.

MDS

Candidates must meet all the requirements set by the Dental Council of India.
Candidates must have a BDS degree from an institution recognized by India's Dental Council.
Must have permanent registration from the Dental Council Of India.

Candidates must clear the NEET (National Eligibility & Entrance Test) conducted on an India basis.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for BDS:

  • Students should have passed the 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks with physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects from a recognized board or any equivalent examination for the BDS course in SGT Dental College.
  • Students' selection for admission is based on marks scored in the NEET UG examination.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MDS:

  • Students should have a bachelor’s degree in BDS or a provisional certificate in BDS from DCI recognized college to be eligible for MDS in SGT Dental College.
  • Admissions are based on the marks scored in the NEET PG examination.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for Ph.D.:

  • Students should have a master’s degree (MDS) to be eligible for Ph.D. in SGT Dental College.
  • The students' selection is based on marks scored in the university's entrance exam and based on merit.

  • NEET PG: For postgraduate Dental course (MDS)
  • NEET UG: Entrance examination for admission in Dental undergraduate courses (BDS).

SGT dental college offers 5 years duration of BDS and 3 years of MDS program, admissions into which are through entrance examinations. I joined this institution to pursue BDS, at the time of admission basic requirement that is needed to get admission into UG course is that, candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject from a recognised board. In addition to this selection for admission is made according to the score that student secure in NEET entrance exam. Candidates are expected to score valid rank as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission.

SGT Dental College, Hospital & Research Institute Admission are done offline for direct admissions in BDS. The eligibility criteria for the BDS program are as follows: The candidate should be of min. 17 years of age. Second, the candidate should have pursued their HSE or their 12th in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as their majors having secured a min. of 50% average marks. The candidate should also appear for the NEET-UG or the state level entrance test. The score secured in the test will play a major role in the selection of the candidate. The application fee too is quite feasible at SGT-DC

SGT Dental College, Hospital & Research Institute offers UG & PG courses in dental studies. Aspirants seeking to take admission into UG & PG courses must appear for NEET entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks (cut off marks in 2018 was between 701-134) in order to get shortlisted for admission. Candidates can fill the online application form in February and the application fee is around 1,500 for general &OBC candidates and 800 for SC/ST candidates. Apart from this basic requirement for admission is that, student must have passed 12th with PCB as the compulsory subject with min 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Fees structure is feasible if the admission is taken through government quota.

SGT Dental College will accept the NEET counseling cutoff to provide admissions for BDS. The overall cutoff through -NEET-Counselling for BDS is 791623 rank.

The admission procedure for BDS course

  • Admission seekers must have PCM and English as subjects in 12th class.
  • Candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent there to with at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • Entrance exam for admission is based on the score obtained in NEET-UG exam for BDS course.

Admission process for UG course:

  • The admission to the BDS course shall be made on the terms and conditions as prescribed by the Dental Council of India from time to time.
  • Admission will be based on the score obtained in NEET-UG exam.
  • Aspirant should have cleared 12th examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks in a recognized board.
  • The fee structure for BDS course is around INR 17.5lakhs, duration of 5year course.

Admission process for MDS course:

  • Admission will be based on the score obtained in NEET-PG exam.
  • Candidate must have a BDS degree from an Indian university/dental college recognized by GOI as per dentist act 1948
  • or one must possess an equivalent qualification recognized by DCI.
  • The fee structure for MDS course is around INR 31.2 lakhs, duration of 3year course.
