Saveetha School of Management (SSM) in Chennai was initiated in 2008 as a private institute. SSM is approved by AICTE and affiliated with SIMATS of Chennai. They are known for offering PG or masters-level programs in mangt studies. They provide training for the MBA program that is available in eight different subject choices to choose from. SSM has a good set of faculty members to impart training in the given subject specialization. Apart from PG courses, they also offer a research-level program at PhD in mangt subjects. SSM also offers decent relaxation in their scholarship and placement concerning the institute norms and regulations.

Saveetha School of Management is based in Chennai. It is NAAC-accredited with an A grade. Also, TOI has ranked SSOM in the 97th position for its MBA excellence. Admissions for MBA programs are based on UG degree scores from UGC-approved universities. Additionally, applicants must have appeared for management aptitude tests like CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT, etc. The further selection process involves rounds like GD and PI based on the results of entrance exam scores. The mode of application for MBA admissions at SSOM is accepted in online mode with the help of the official website. Candidates must pay the form fees to complete the process.

I was very interested in joining SSM Chennai for completing the PG degree. The reason behind choosing this B School is its imparting quality education and better placement assistance. So, first, I appeared for MAT Entrance Exam and secured a good score as per the cut off eligibility norms. Then, I applied for MBA admission online by visiting the college website. MBA admission in SSM is based on entrance exam marks. Luckily, I got shortlisted based on MAT Percentile and UG marks. Then, the admission team informed me to attend the final selection round, which is PI. Later, I got selected and paid the admission fees to confirm a seat. MBA fees at SSM Chennai cost around INR 4 Lakhs in total for two years. Students can make the payment on a semester basis.

I secured MBA admission in SSM Chennai based on my TANCET score. Besides, TANCET score college also considers the valid score of MAT entrance exam. Along with the entrance exam percentile, students must hold a recognized UG degree with 50% marks in any discipline. The selection process for MBA in SSM takes place by considering these factors. Those students who are selected have to participate in Personal Interview round. SSM accepts only online application forms. There is no provision for the offline process. Applicants should visit the official website of the college to fill SSM application form via online mode.

MBA in our college is offered in streams like marketing, finance, hospital management, Human resource and 3 more other. Saveetha School of Management admission is basically through the TANCET or even if students have qualified the MAT then will be eligible for the admission in to MBA course. The duration of the program is 2 years offered in 8 streams in a fulltime mode. Basic criteria for eligibility will be to have a bachelor degree in any field and total program cost will be around Rs. 30,000 PA. In placements the highest CTC was close to Rs.3.5 lakhs PA which was actually very good package for the pass outs.
