The college is affiliated with Anna University. It is AICTE-approved and NBA-accredited the courses. SEC Chennai received an "A" Grade from NAAC. Saveetha Engineering College's NIRF Ranking was 156. Eligibility for B.Tech admission requires applicants to have passed HSC from Tamil Nadu with PCM or an equivalent institution recognized by Anna University. Admissions are 10+2 merit-based, and selection is through TNEA Counseling. Saveetha Engineering College cut off for TNEA cutoff for OC Category ranged from 24820 to 82613 ranks. Our college is a very amazing college which had good campus. For taking admission here I had to write the TANCET which is common test for the management courses in Tamil Nadu. Even candidates with valid score in CAT, MAT or XAT are eligible to apply in this college for the MBA. The semester fee was also flexible and per semester I had to pay 30,000 rupees for the MBA course. We used to get good internship opportunities in various companies and for the recruitment too. The faculty in the college are very knowledgeable and they are really taught well.
