Satyabama University Online MBA Program Structure
The Online MBA program follows a structured course design that aligns with the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines. Each course in the program is divided into four quadrants, offering a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.
Quadrant-I, an e-Tutorial, provides students with organized video and audio content, animations, and virtual labs. This quadrant also includes transcriptions of the video to assist learners in better understanding the course material.
Quadrant II, named e-Content, comprises self-instructional materials in digital formats, such as e-Books, case studies, and presentations. Additionally, students will find web resources like further references and related links to enhance their understanding of the subject matter.
Quadrant III serves as the Discussion Forum, where learners can raise doubts and queries about the course content. The Course Coordinator facilitates this forum, providing clarifications and fostering active student discussions.
Quadrant-IV, known as Assessment, offers various evaluation components. Students will encounter problems and solutions in different formats, such as Multiple Choice Questions, Fill in the blanks, Matching Questions, Short Answer Questions, Long Answer Questions, Quizzes, and Assignments. These assessments help gauge the student's understanding and progress in the course.
The online courses are conducted entirely digitally, without physical classroom sessions. Students will have access to 1-2 hours of weekly live sessions to interact with instructors and fellow students in real-time. Course materials like reading materials and recorded video lectures will be regularly uploaded to the platform.
A weekly discussion forum lasting for 1 hour will be set up, allowing students to clarify doubts and seek additional insights from the Course Coordinator and their peers. To assess students' continuous progress, online proctored examinations will be conducted. These exams ensure the integrity and authenticity of the assessment process. At the end of each semester, a physical proctored online examination will be held to evaluate the student's overall performance in the course.
