Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), Surat as formed in 1995 for providing Engineering and Computer Application program at UG & PG level. The college is having its affiliation to GTU for offering B.Tech, MCA and M.Tech program.

SCET, Surat B.Tech Admissions:

SCET is providing Engineering program at undergraduate level with eight specializations for four years duration. The students seeking admission to B.Tech program will have to hold 10+2 or equivalent level education in Science stream with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects with 45% marks from recognized board. The Students will be shortlisted for admission process based on the marks obtained in GUJCET exam followed by a centralized counseling.

Lateral Entry Admission is also provided for the Diploma Engineering students with 45% marks from recognized university. The students will be selected based on merit in qualifying exam followed by a centralized counseling.

  • 15 % seats reserved for Management quota and 85% seats reserved for centralized counseling admissions.

SCET, Surat M.Tech Admissions:

Engineering program for two years is provided by the college at postgraduate level with five specializations. Students seeking admission will have to hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 50% marks from recognized university along with a valid score in GATE or PGCET exam. The students will be shortlisted after Centralized counseling for M.Tech admissions.

SCET, Surat MCA Admissions:

SCET is having an intake of 60 students for MCA program provided for three years duration for the students who have basic eligibility of bachelor’s degree with 50% marks along with10+2 level in Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics. The students will be shortlisted based on CMAT score followed by a centralized counseling.

SCET, Surat Application Process:

The Admission will be done based on Centralized counseling, so the students applying to any of the programs are supposed to apply through ACPC website. The students can also get the info. Booklet and PIN from any of the registered help centres.

  • Application fee of INR 350/- for B.Tech, INR 500/- for MCA and INR 1000/- for M.Tech has to be paid at the time of submitting the application form.
  • The students will have to get printout of the registration form and photo copies of self-attested documents needs to be submitted to help centres nearby before the given time. 
  • Students applying for admission through management quota will have to pay INR 350/- and the application form has to be submitted directly to the college.

Admissions follow a centralized process, with 85% of seats filled through centralized counseling and the remaining 15% under the Sarvajanik College management quota. The ACPC prepares a common merit list based on the merit of 10+2 and GUJCET scores for admissions. The Sarvajanik College of Engineering cutoff jee mains ranged from 2930 to 26806 for round 1, while the GUJCET Cutoff ranged from 3069 to 30515. Candidates need to apply to ACPC using prescribed forms for admission, with information booklets and PINs available at registered help centers to facilitate the application process.

The students must appear for JEE Main or GUJCET scores to be eligible for B-Tech admissions at SCET. If they don’t meet the eligible scores then aspirants can opt for direct admissions.

The admission or the application process of SCET is to Apply on the college website or with relevant authorities mentioned-Fill the complete details required in the application forms, Upload/ attach required documents, mark sheets, photos-Upload any docs related to the reservation category-receive the admit card for the entrance exams and appear according to announced dates-After results are declared, appear for admission rounds and secure your seat by paying applicable admission fees for B-Tech admissions.
