SIRT B.Tech admission eligibility/selection criteria

  • A candidate who is seeking B. Tech admission at Sagar Institute, Bhopal must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% or above. They shall have studied PCM as the main subject.
  • B.Tech selection criteria at SIRT are purely based on the rank in JEE main followed by counselling. DTE, Madhya Pradesh, will hold the counselling session.
  • Thus, applicants have to register online for Counselling through DTE, MP official website. They have to register based on JEE Main Results.
  • Once the registration is completed, the Competant Authority will screen the application forms and prepare the merit list by compiling the scores of 10+2 as well JEE Main Rank.
  • Later, the authority will display the merit on its official website. Those candidates whose names are featured in the merit list can participate in further counselling phases.
  • The final seat allotment will be done through DTE Counselling based on merit rank and choice of preferences.
  • There is also a provision for direct admission in SIRT. Candidates who are seeking B Tech admission under the Management quota at SIRT have to attend college-level counselling.
  • For B Tech Management seats in SIRT, candidates can directly fill the SIRT application /admission enquiry form available at the college's main website.

SIRT M.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • Candidates looking for M Tech admission in Sagar Institute Bhopal should have completed their B Tech undergraduate degree in the relevant stream.
  • To be eligible for admission in SIRT for M Tech, candidates must score above 60% as minimum marks.
  • M Tech Selection Criteria at SIRT depends on the candidate's performance in the GATE Entrance Test followed by DTE, MP Counselling. The counselling will be held at the state level.
  • M Tech admission seekers aspiring for government quota seats must register themselves for DTE MP Counselling based on GATE results.
  • Whereas SIRT M Tech admission under Management Quota will be based on academic merit followed by college-level counselling

SIRT MBA Admission

Besides technical streams, Sagar Institute also offers admission to the MBA at the PG level. MBA at SIRT is available in the general stream. The annual intake is restricted to 60 seats.

  • Aspirants looking for MBA admission in Sagar Institute shall have completed their UG degree in any discipline.
  • Candidates will be admitted to the MBA course based on their score acquired in CMAT.  
  • Thus, MBA admission seekers have to undertake the national level entrance test CMAT and are required to secure a qualifying score.
  • The candidate will get confirmation about admission to the SIRT MBA course after getting accession in every criterion.

SIRT MCA admission

SIRT offers admission to an MCA course at the postgraduate level. The intake for MCA in SIRT is 60 seats annually.

  • A candidate who wants to take admission into the SIRT MCA course must have completed their Bachelor's Degree in concerned stream BCA/BSc (Computer science) or equivalent.
  • The candidate must also have passed with mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject for applying to the MCA course at SIRT.
  • However, MCA selection criteria at SIRT depends on the student's performance in Pre-CMAT Examination.

Sagar Institute of Research & Technology rates the fee structure for the MBA course is approximately 56k in line with year and prices about 1.12 Lakhs for the entire period of the direction. Now, I am studying 2nd year in Marketing Management and the curriculum of the direction is satisfactory and it covers all the essential subjects that are smooth to learn. This Institute also offers merit scholarships for students who've secured accurate academic exam marks. The Scholarship facility is available for reserved categories including SC / ST and college students from Minorities which will be released by the government.

The admission procedure for MBA

  • Selection of the candidates for MBA admission is done based on their score obtained in MET conducted by Vyapam or CMAT and admission is given through DTE Counselling.
  • Applicants with Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline are considered eligible to get admission in MBA course.

The total fee for MBA is:

  • Almost INR 1.12 lakhs for 2 years.
