Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) was started in 2012. The college is located in Kanyakumari. AICTE approves the technical courses offered by Rohini College.   • TNEA Merit list is based on 10+12 marks. Thus, applicants required to score above 45% in the 10+2 science stream.

Rohini College of Engineering and Technology ME Admission

Rohini College of Engineering and Technology offers admission to the M Tech in three specializations: Computer Science Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, and Communication Systems. While the annual intake for M Tech is 24 seats.

  • Admission for the M Tech at Rohini College is based on the entrance exam score followed by counselling. Thus, candidates must clear the TANCET/GATE exam.
  • In addition, candidates have to score a minimum of 50% in their graduation. Candidates must have done their UG degree BE/B Tech or equivalent in the concerned stream.

Rohini College of Engineering and Technology Application Process

  • For B Tech admission at Rohini College, candidates must register for the TNEA Counselling as a primary step. Through the counselling phases, the seat allocation procedure takes place. The mode of filling TNEA application form is online. The application fees cost INR 500/-
  • Candidates willing to apply for M Tech admission must apply through a TANCET score. Henceforth applicants have to register for the exam by logging into the Anna University website.

It is one of the outstanding college where the Rohini College admissions are strict there is even direct admission for those students who have got less marks but have got basic eligibility or who has not got the seat through counselling. Because I did not get through TNEA counselling, had to visit the college campus for direct admission to B.Tech and when I visited, I filled the application form and choose the required stream then by seeing the marks obtained in +2 level my seat was confirmed. While taking RCET admission to B.Tech I enquired about hostel facility and after hearing it is not bad manageable and worth I even confirmed my hostel room.

Hi Meenakshy,

Fee structure for B.Tech in Rohini College of Engineering and Technology is around 200000 for 4  years.

Eligibility criteria is 10+2 with minimum 55% aggregate along with a valid score in entrance exam.

Rohini College of Engineering and Technology B.E. admission is done through counselling quota and management quota.

For which candidate should be 12th passed with minimum average percentage in Mathematics, chemistry and physics put together.
