RGM College is accredited with an "A+" Grade by NAAC, and RGMCET maintains high academic standards. For B.Tech eligibility, candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination of AP State Intermediate Board of Education or its equivalent. Additionally, they need to appear for the AP EAMCET conducted by JNTUK Kakinada to obtain a valid rank. The selection process involves registering for the AP EAMCET examination and securing a valid rank. Candidates then participate in online counseling to choose their preferred college and course. The RGM Engineering College cutoff rank in AP EAPCET ranges from 20298 to 134958. RGMCET Cut Off For Cse was 20928th rank. Admissions depends on the performance in the entrance examination and web counseling.

The institution offers UG & PG courses in engineering. Minimum eligibility for admission into graduation courses is that, candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks with PCM as the compulsory subject from a recognised board. Selection for admission is made through entrance examinations, valid score as per the cut off marks is mandatory to get shortlisted for admission. Fees structure for courses is feasible if the admission is taken through entrance test. I completed B.Tech in civil engineering with the total expenditure of 2.2 Lakhs. Fees structure may vary depending on the specialisation. Scholarship on the basis of merit in 10+2 is available.

All B Tech courses have the same requirements. Candidates must have passed the AP State Intermediate Board of Education's Intermediate Examination or an equivalent test with PCM as the main topic is the minimum eligibility required. To earn a legitimate rank, they must have taken the AP EAMCET, which is administered by JNTUK Kakinada. Candidates must enrol for the EAMCET test and obtain a passing mark. Candidates must use Online AP EAMCET counselling to get their selected college and course options. At the conclusion of the process, the university publishes the final merit list of shortlisted candidates. Admissions to B Tech at RGMCET are made based on the results of the Entrance Examinations and online counselling.
