The Institute of Rajiv Gandhi offers courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs with various specializations. In addition, RGIT offers B. Tech / M. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology B.E Admission 

RGIT offers B.E in five domains at the graduate level for four years with an annual intake of 60 students (per subject).

  • The B.E course at RGIT is offered with five disciplines for the candidates who have passed 10+2 exams with 50% marks.
  • Admission for the B.E course is based on marks scored in JEE Main and MHT CET entrance tests.
  • The students applying at the Institute level will be called for the entrance exam conducted in Institute. 
  • Candidates applying through the Institute level will have to appear in the counselling rounds to get admission.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology M.E Admission 

RGIT offers an M.E course under the PG program for the candidates who have qualifying marks. The Institute provides an M.E program for two years with an annual intake of 18 students (per student) in two domains.

  • Candidates must have passed B.E / B. Tech course with 50% marks to get admission for the M.E program.
  • The selection for the M.E program offered by RGIT depends on marks scored in the GATE entrance examination.
  • The final entry for the M.E course is based on application form screening and entrance exam scores.

The Institute of RGIT offers an MCA course under the Postgraduate program for two years. Admission details for the MCA course are as follows.

  • Admission for the MCA course at RGIT depends on marks scored in MAH MCA CET entrance exam scores.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Application Process

The students applying through DTE will have to apply online on the official website, and applicants applying at the Institute level must apply offline.

The B.E admission process in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is completely based on MHT CET and it is mandatory for aspirants who join for B.E course to secure valid MHT CET score. The MHTCET application fee is INR 1200 for reserved category candidates and for general candidate’s fee is INR 1600 and it is mode of offline. Even based on JEE Main score students are selected for taking B.E admission in any stream in the institute. Minimum criteria is aspirant must hold a bachelor degree with proper aggregate score. Through counselling process of JEE Main/MHT CET students can get into this institute followed with personal interview at admission time.

The students must appear for KCET/ COMED K or JEE Main secure valid scores and follow it with counseling results. However, those who do not meet the eligible score can approach for direct admission.
