RRCE, Bangalore is a private Institute established in 2006, located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The College aims to become excellent in providing technical education. It is affiliated with VTU and Belgaum and approved by AICTE and NBA. The Campus has been designed with complete modern facilities with highly dedicated faculty members. RRCE aims to provide affordable quality education, irrespective of caste and religion. The applicants who qualified through the Govt quota will have fewer fees than Management quota students.  

The College has ranked 142 places for the B. Tech program by Outlook; RRCE is one of the top ten Engineering Colleges in Bangalore and has ranked 43rd among top Engg colleges in India. Admission to Raja Rajeshwari College will be based on the entrance, academic, and counseling performances. The students who obtain qualifying marks in all the selection parameters can apply for preferred courses offered by the Institute. The College presently offers BE, M. Tech, MBA, and MCA courses under UG and PG programs.

The BE program in RRCE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. A full-time BE course is offered for 4 years (8 semesters) with six disciplines. All the BE programs are conducted semester basis, and the College follows the curriculum set by Visvesvaraya Technological University.

Raja Rajeshwari College BE Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • The admission code for KCET at RRCE will be E145 and for COMEDK E099 for BE admission.
  • The students seeking admission must have 50% marks in 10+2 intermediate examinations in Chemistry, Maths, and Physics as main subjects.
  • The applicants will get admission to BE at RRCE based on ranks in KCET and COMEDK entrance scores. Non-Karnataka applicants have to undertake COMEDK Entrance Test to secure admission seats.
  • After the Merit list declaration, candidates will have to attend the online counseling process, which will be held by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). For Government Quota, seat allotment will be done through KEA Counselling.
  • To be eligible for government seats, students must score a valid rank in the entrance test equivalent to the Raja Rajeshwari College KCET cut-off.
  • Candidates with valid JEE Main are also eligible to apply for BE/B Tech admission at RRCE.
  • Candidates who wish to apply for B Tech admission under the Management quota at RRCE can fill out the online application form by visiting the College's official website. Or, students can visit the college campus to approach the admission authority.
  • The applicants seeking admission through the Management quota at RRCE will be selected based on merit and seat availability. In addition, they must have attempted either state or national entrance tests.

I took admission through KCET as I was from Karnataka so I had just qualified KCET so luckily I got Raja Rajeshwari College of Engineering admission to the BE course. This was very nice college and mainly they offer excellent education. They mainly accept and fill seats through the KCET examination or few seats with management quota.

RRCE will consider KCET or COMED K scores for B-Tech admissions. The accepted CSE stream cut-off rank through KCET is 29283.

To qualify for a B-Tech seat at RRCE, applicants must have passed in 10+2 and appeared for KCET or COMED K or JEE Main scores. If they have secured the eligible rank then they can approach for direct admissions.

To get admission to the B-Tech program at RRCEMS, the applicants must have done the 10th and 12th board exams followed by COMED K or KCET cut-off scores. If they haven't met the minimum cut-off scores, then they can apply for direct admission by contacting the admission authorities.
