Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT) is a technical and management institute incepted in the Industrial city of Ghaziabad of UP in 2000. The Institute has been offering programs in Pharmacy, Engineering, and Management at UG & PG levels by having its affiliation with AKTU, Lucknow. The programs offered are B. Tech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBA, M.Tech, and MCA.

  • Students applying for MBA, MCA, and B.Tech programs will have to appear for an entrance test conducted by AKTU, Lucknow.
  • 85% of seats are reserved for admission through AKTU, Lucknow entrance exam.
  • The students will be allotted branches through counselling based on their merit by AKTU.
  • Under the university's policy, 15% of the seats are reserved for admission through direct mode based on merit in the qualifying exam or respective entrance exam.
  • StudeUniversity’s B.Pharm program will have to hold a valid score in the UPSEE exam by AKTU, Lucknow.
  • M.Pharm admissions will be based on merit in the B.Pharm program.
  • M.Tech program admission is based on B.Tech program marks.

RKGIT B.Tech Admissions:

The B.Tech program admission will be based on the entrance exam conducted by the AKTU, Lucknow. The basic education requirement to be eligible for applying to the B.Tech program is 10+2 or equivalent with PCM subjects with minimum marks obtained. The Institute will allot seats for the students based on the merit received in the entrance exam through the counselling process.

  • 85% of the total seats will be filled through the entrance exam by AKTU, Lucknow. The university's counselling wiUniversity'seld to allow the students' headquarters.
  • Under the university's policy, direct admission is also available for students with good marks in qualifying exams or entrance exams. 15% of the university’s reserved for direct admissions.

RKGIT M.Tech Admissions:

The Institute offers an M.Tech program with just one specialization with 18 students. The basic eligibility required for applying to the M.Tech program is a B.Tech in an applicable stream from a recognized university. The selection method for M.Tech depends on the merit of the qualifying exam.

RKGIT B.Pharm & M.Pharm Admissions:

Students seeking education in pharmacy can apply for admission into the Institute. RKGIT offers a Pharmacy program at UG and PG levels. The B.Pharm program's basic eligibility is 10+2 with physics and mathematics with 45% marks if applying through UPSEE or 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks if using direct. The M.Pharm program requires basic eligibility of B.Pharm with minimum marks.

The Institute is even providing lateral entry admission to the B.Pharm program for students with D.Pharm education who have obtained 50% marks in the UPSEE exam or 60% marks in the D.Pharm if applying through direct mode.

RKGIT MBA & MCA Admissions:

The Institute is also offering a Business Administration and Computer Application program for PG-level students. The basic eligibility required for an MBA is any graduation from any university, and for an MCA is any graduation with a Mathematics subject in 10+2 from any recognized body. The students will be selected based on the marks obtained in the UPSEE exam conducted by AKTU Lucknow.

RKGIT Ghaziabad has approval from AICTE. The institute has received a certification of appreciation award from UPTU/AKTU. Admissions for B Tech program, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education. The institute offers two pathways for admission. 85% of the seats are filled through an entrance examination conducted by AKTU, with branch allotment based on merit through university-led counseling. The remaining 15% of seats are available for Raj Kumar Goel College direct admission based on candidates' performance in the qualifying exam and respective entrance exam. The RKGIT Ghaziabad cutoff ranges from 3651 to 841765, while the JEE Main cutoff ranges from 302195 to 592962.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University conducts an entrance examination that fills 85 percent of the available seats. AKTU in Lucknow conducts counselling to assign candidates to branches based on their merit. Candidates can apply for direct admission to the RKGIT for 15% of the seats. According to the University's policies, admission will be based on the percentage of marks received in the qualifying exam and the appropriate entrance exam.

RKGIT accepts the JEE Main entrance exam for B-Tech admissions in any available specializations.
