Rabindra Bharati University BA Admission
Among the Rabindra Bharati University UG Courses, BA is quite popular. For admission to the BA course, the candidates must be at least 10+2 passed. The candidates must also have had the relevant subject in the qualifying exam. However, the candidates applying to the MA in Economics course must have had Mathematics as one of their subjects in 10+2.
The candidates applying to the BA Fine Arts courses - Rabindra Sangeet, Drama, Vocal Music, Dance, and Instrumental Music, must be 10+2 pass out and have to appear for an admission test administrated by the RBU.
The selection is entirely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Rabindra Bharati University UG merit list shall be prepared based on the merit performance in the previous qualifying examination.
For BA (Hons.) in Fine Arts subjects, the merit list will be equipped based on scores in the Rabindra Bharati University Entrance Exam (out of 80) and marks in 10+2 (out of 20). The admission test will consist of 50 marks for Practical and 30 for Theory.

Among the Rabindra Bharati University PG Courses, a two-year Master of Arts (MA) is popular.
The basic eligibility criteria for MA is Graduation in the relevant discipline. The candidates seeking admission into Sociology can have either Sociology or Political Science in Graduation.
On the other hand, the candidates seeking admission into the Fine Arts section viz, Rabindra Sangeet, Vocal Music, Dance, Drama, Instrumental, Music, Journalism, and Mass Communication, Musicology must have a Graduation in the relevant discipline or Graduation in any subject with special aptitude in the relevant discipline from any UGC recognized University.
Selection to all the MA courses is based on the marks in the Graduation degree except for (Human Rights) and Mass Communication, whose admission is granted based on performance in the Admission Test. Interested applicants must access the website for Rabindra Bharati University Exam Form fill-up.

The M.Phil courses are all for two years. For admission into these courses, the aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria of Rabindra Bharati University, which is a master's in the relevant subject from any UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks. Graduation must accompany this with honours in the concerned or allied subjects. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories, i.e., SC/ST, have the relaxation of 50% instead of 55% in Graduation. Admission is granted based on performance in the RBU Entrance Exam, followed by an interview.

This course is for 2-5 years. The eligibility criteria are similar to M.Phil courses, i.e., a post-graduation in the relevant discipline from any UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks. Graduation must accompany this with honours in the concerned or allied subjects.
However, for admission into the Painting, Sculpture, Graphics, Applied Art, History of Art, and Museology specializations, the candidates must have had an MFA/ MVA in the concerned or allied subject from any UGC-recognized University with at least 55% Marks. Also, the candidates must graduate with Honours in the concerned or allied subjects. The selection is entirely based on the written test and personal interview session.

Rabindra Bharati University Library Science Admission
B.Lib.Isc is a 1-year course. The freshers seeking admission must have a Graduation with honours (10+2+3 pattern) or a Master's degree (with honours) or a degree in a technical degree (of the pattern 10+2+4 or 10+2+5) such as Application, Pharmacy, University, or Institute. However, the candidates seeking admission must graduate with honours and have working experience working full-time in any government aid library or institution.
Rabindra Bharati University MLI.Sc Admission: The candidates seeking admission must have a Bachelor of Library and Information Science, preceded by Graduation with honours (10+2+3 pattern) or a Master's degree (with honours) from any UGC recognized University.

B.Ed is a 1-year course. The candidates seeking admission must have Graduation Hons.
