PTU Distance Education BCA Admission
Distance BCA course duration is 3 years. It is a UG professional program for those pursuing a computer applications career. Students must have passed the 12th exam in the science stream from a recognized board. Otherwise, they must have done a Diploma program for 3 years from a recognized body. The University also provides lateral admissions for eligible students. The lateral course duration is for 2 years.
PTU Distance Education B.Sc. admissions
The distance B.Sc. program at PTU is available in IT specialization. The course period is 3 years, and lateral admission is 2 years. They also provide lateral admissions. The essential criteria are to have passed 10+2 exams in the science stream with a 50% in recognized board or its equivalent. They must have passed in Mathematics subject or DIT or DCA level. The selection process is based on merit and shortlisting of candidates. Students can send in their applications online or through post.
PTU Distance Education BBA admissions
Students looking for BBA admissions must meet the minimum eligibility criteria. To be qualified, the applicants must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board of education. OR Must have passed the 10th exam and a three-year Diploma in any trade from a recognized institute.
PTU Distance Education B.Com admissions
Students willing to pursue a career in the commerce field can choose B.Com. It is a 3-year program. The minimum criteria for admission is to have passed 10+2 board exams or a Diploma program or equivalent. There is no entrance exam required for admissions. The B.Com course fee structure is INR 14000 per annum.
PTU Distance Education Distance BA admissions
BA is one of the most common UG programs opted for. This course is under the arts and humanities stream. The BA program at PTU is available in Journalism and Mass Communication. The course duration is 3 years. The only requirement is to have done 10+2 board exams or its equivalent.
PTU Distance MBA admissions
Punjab University MBA distance education is a PG program under the management stream. It is the flagship program offered by the University in distant mode. The minimum eligibility criteria will be based on a 3-year bachelor's degree + CAT or equivalent exam scores. The MBA curriculum is available in General management, and no other specialization is provided. PTU distance learning MBA fees are INR 48000 in total.
PTU Distance Education MA admissions
MA is a PG program for 2 years. The minimum criteria is to have completed their degree in any degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% mark. The selections are based on merit, and no entrance exam scores are required. The MA curriculum is available in Journalism and Mass Communication discipline.
MCA from PTU Distance Education
The MCA program duration is 2 years. Students must have completed their BCA / B.Sc. (IT/CS). Otherwise, they must have done a 3-year degree in Mathematics subject in 10+2 or at graduation level with an average of 50% marks in the qualifying degree.
PTU Distance Education M.Sc. admissions
M.Sc. is a post-grad program for two years. Applicants must have done their bachelor's in B.Sc. from a recognized University. The selections are based on merit scores. The M.Sc. course at PTU is provided in the Information Technology stream.
Punjab Technical University Distance Education Examinations
The academic examinations will also be held in distance mode. The evaluation process often involves periodic assignments, projects, and written examinations. Some programs might also have proctored examinations at designated centres. The applicants can choose the exam centre while registering for the exam.
PTU distance education results will be declared within 45 days of exam completion. The University will inform the result notifications through mail or call. Students can download the scorecard using the exam ID by logging into the student portal.
