The education institution of PDKVCET was established in the year 2009 by Dr K. Vasudevan. The college focuses on leading successful path for the students. PDKVCET aims at providing quality education to build confidence to become a responsible human. AICTE approves PDKVCET and affiliated with Anna University. The college has a career counselling centre, quiet environment for a better learning experience. 

PDKVCET offers courses like Undergraduate and Postgraduate under various categories.

  • PDKVET offers B.E. and B.E. lateral courses under U.G. and M.E. under the P.G. program.
  • Eligibility for B.E. at PDKVET, candidates must have passed 10+2 in PCM with 50% marks.
  • Admission for the B.E. course at PDKVET is based on a TNEA counselling session.
  • The Institute also offers M.E. course for the students who have eligible scores and meet the admission criteria. 
  • 50% of the U.G. seats are provided under the government quota.
  • The rest of the seats are provided under the Management quota.
  • The Institute also offers B.E. lateral course for the students who have eligible marks. 

PDKVCET BE course Admission 

The Institute of PDKVCET offers a B.E. course in four disciplines for four years. PDKVCET also provides B.E. lateral courses for the students with eligible scores.

  • B.E. course is offered for 60 seats per academic year. 
  • Eligibility for B.E. course at PDKVCET, candidates must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam with PCM as main subjects. 
  • Admission for B.E. at PDKVCET is based on Merit and TNEA counselling conducted by A.U.
  • Eligibility for B.E. lateral course at PDKVCET, students must have passed diploma or B.Sc. degree with Maths as compulsory subjects.
  • Applicants who belong to OBC / SC / ST / BC / OC / MBC/DNC must have scores 40% marks to apply. 
  • The General category students must have scored 50% marks in the 10+2 exam to apply.

PDKVCET ME course Admission 

The Institute of PDKVCET offers an M.E. course in two disciplines under the P.G. level. Duration for the M.E. course at PDKVCET is two years, with an intake of 24 students per year.

  • Eligibility for M.E. course at PDKVCET, students applying for M.E. course must have passed B. Tech and B.E. with 50% marks.
  • Admission for the M.E. course at PDKVCET is based on the TANCET entrance exam with valid scores.
  • The final selection for the M.E. course is based on Merit and entrance exam scores.
