Pune District Education Association and College Of Ayurveda & Research Center, commonly known as PDEA College of Ayurveda and Research Center,  located in Pune, Maharashtra. PDEA CARC offers a full-time Bachelors in ayurvedic medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course. The duration of the BAMS course at PDEA CARC is 5 academic years and 6 months including the internship program. The applicants willing to take admission in the BAMS course PDEA CARC  should appear in the entrance exam NEET UG. The total number of seats available in the BAMS program at PDEA CARC is 60.

The eligibility criteria for BAMS admission at PDEA CARC require the candidates to pass the below-mentioned criteria.

  1. The applicants must have passed 10+2 or any HSC level board examination.
  2. The examination should have been held by any recognized national or state board of senior secondary education.
  3. At the intermediate level, the mandatory subjects should be Physics, chemistry, and Biology.
  4. The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  5. For the candidates belonging to the reserved category, a relaxation of 10% aggregate marks will be offered.

A  MD/MS course of the duration of 3 academic years is offered at PDEA CARC. Both MD and MS are available under 14 ayurvedic streams. The admission to the MD/MS courses at PDEA CARC is done through the entrance examination.

  • The applicants must have completed their BAMS degree program of a duration of 5 years. The degree course should have been offered by any university approved by the CCIm and by the Department of AYUSH, Government of India.
  • The applicants must have completed their 12 months equivalent rotary internship program.
  • The candidates seeking admission in the PG courses at PDEA CARC should appear in the common entrance test AIAPGET.
  • All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the NTA.
  • The applicants will be selected for admission in the program based on their performance in the entrance exam.

PDEA CARC is located in a huge land area in the city of Pune, Maharashtra. The college offers a huge infrastructure and various facilities for the smooth learning process of the students. The college offers educational facilities such as spacious classrooms, a library with multiple UG and PG books, audiobooks, volumes, and Titles. PDEA CARC campus has around 325 medical plant species and more than 1480 plants. The whole Herbal garden is spread over an area of 2 acres.

  • The institute offers hostel facilities to accommodate the UG and PG students.
  • There are separate boys and girls hostels at PDEA CARC. The boy's hostel has a total of 27 rooms that accommodates 96 students.

PDEA College of Ayurved & Research Centre Admission criteria includes: The candidate should have passed their higher secondary examination or an equivalent examination having secured a min. of 50% average marks or an equivalent CGPA. The candidate should have appeared for any of the entrance tests such as NEET, etc. The score secured in the Entrance test will determine whether the candidate can make it through the admissions. The selected candidate will be intimidated via the list put up on the college notice board. The first installment of the fees has to be paid before the first semester commences. The course fee here is as per the government rules.

PDEA College of Ayurved & Research Centre offers courses like BAMS, MS, MD & Ph.D. admission into which is offered through entrance examinations with the basic eligibility that student must have passed 12th with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. For admission into UG & PG courses candidates can appear for NEET entrance examinations whose application form can be filled online in 1st week of February. Application fee is around 1,500 for general and OBC candidates and 800 for SC/ST candidates. Exam is conducted in the month of May. Candidates are expected to secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission.

For admission into UG courses like BAMS, candidates belonging to open category must have secure 50% aggregate marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject from a recognised board. Apart from this candidates must appear for NEET entrance examination because selection for admission is made via entrance exam, and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission. NEET is all India level entrance exam which is mostly conducted in the month of May. Fees structure for courses is feasible and best placement facilities are also available.
