PBCE is a private Institute established in the year 2002 by the PB Educational Trust. AICTE approves and affiliated with Anna University. It provides technical education in the field of engineering and Technology. BE and ME course at UG and PG level programs are offered by PBCE. Admission for these courses is made on the official website of the Institute.

  • Applications for BE / B. Tech and ME course at PBCE is available on the official website of PBCE.

  • Admission for the B. Tech / BE course at PBCE is made through TNEA counselling conducted by AU.

PB College of Engineering BE Admission 

The Institute offers a B. Tech / BE course in 8 specializations with 480 seats per academic year.

  • Candidates applying for BE course at PBCE must have passed 10+2 in Vocational streams with valid scores.
  • Students must also have passed 10+2 in science with 50% marks to apply.
  • Admission is offered for BE course at PBCE based on marks scored in the eligible exam and TNEA counselling process.
  • Students who do not belong to Tamil Nadu state can also apply if they have valid scores.

PB College of Engineering ME Admission 

PB College offers ME course in 4 specializations to eligible students. Students with suitable marks in academics and entrance exam shall apply.

  • Applicants seeking admission for the ME course at PBCE must have passed the UG degree with 50% marks.
  • Admission for the ME course at PBCE is based on marks scored in the TANCET entrance exam.
  • Students who also have qualified in the GATE entrance test can also apply for the ME course.
  • Applicants who have valid scores in the GATE exam will be exempted from taking TANCET.

It is one of the best known engineering colleges in Chennai and it offers only under graduation courses in engineering with multiple specializations. I have just completed B.Tech in computer science engineering from this college. My admission in this college was on the basis of entrance exam score. Valid score as per the cut off marks is mandatory to get admission in this college. In addition basic requirement is that student must have completed 12th with minimum 50% aggregate marks with PCM as the compulsory subject. As per my knowledge fees structure for courses is feasible. Placement facilities are also offered by the college.

There is Aeronautical Engineering discipline offered under B.Tech and candidates willing to apply need to have eligibility of being completed 10+2 from science stream with minimum 50% aggregate. Selection of candidates will be done through merit in the qualified examination followed by TNEA counselling based seats will be allotted.

  • Admission will be donbe as per the rules of Anna university.
  • Candidate needs to appear TNEA entrance exam for taking admission.
  • Good scorer may ge benifits during admission, its as per the university norms.
