Dr D. Y. Patil Medical College is a reputed medical institution established in 1996. DYPMC is affiliated with DPU, Pune, with NAAC accreditation. DYPMC has also got approval from National Medical Council. According to the NIRF 2019 Rankings, DY Patil College secured 20th Position. In addition, MHRD ranked DYPMC as 1st Place among Top Medical Colleges in Maharashtra. The main intention of DYPMC is not just to impart knowledge but also to promote the student's overall development. NAAC accredits the DYPMC with an 'A' Grade.

  • Currently, the college offers admission to the MBBS at the UG level. MD/MS at PG level. Besides, it offers super speciality courses like M.Ch.
  • The admission criteria in DYPMC is based on entrance exam performance NEET-UG/PG/SS. Whereas the final seat allocation takes place through counselling rounds.

Minimum eligibility mandatory for admission into UG medical courses in Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre is that candidate must have secured 50% aggregate marks in 12th with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board. As the admission is through entrance examination and hence it is also mandatory that candidate must appear for NEET entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted. NEET is all India level entrance examination whose application form can be filled online through NEET official website. Application fee for general/OBC is 1,500 and 800 for SC/ST and the fee can be paid via e-wallet, credit/debit card or net banking.

For admission into UG & PG courses in Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College candidates must appear for entrance examinations. Selection for admission is made on the basis of score in entrance examination and hence it is compulsory that student must appear for entrance exam and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. For UG & PG courses in medical students can appear for NEET entrance exam which is conducted online every year.
