NPR College of Engineering and Technology (NPRCET) was founded in 2008 and is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The college aspires to offer value-added and inclusive technical education. NPRCET was established with the vision to provide modern technological facilities and faculties to develop into an exceptional destination for students aspiring to study engineering and technological studies.
NPR College of Engineering and Technology (NPRCET) offers both UG and PG-level courses to its students. UG-level courses include BE in various specializations, whereas PG-level courses include ME and MBA in numerous disciplines. Admission to these courses is made via Merit/Entrance Tests/Counselling.

  • Candidates seeking admission to BE course at NPRCET should have passed their 12th standard of Tamil Nadu HSC with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • The selection of the candidates to the BE at NPR College depends on TNEA Merit Rank. Candidates who have qualified in 12th have to register for TNEA Counselling based on their aggregate score.
  • Anna University will conduct TNEA Counselling. And, the merit list will be published after the registration process.
  • Student’s TNEA rank must be equivalent to the NPR College TNEA Cut off criteria. Then, there will be chances of getting an admission seat for B Tech.

NPR College offers ME to its PG-level candidates. In addition, specialization in Structural Engineering is available for aspiring students. Whereas the intake capacity is 18 seats.

  • Candidates seeking the M Tech/ME course at NPRCET should have a Bachelor’s Degree in BE or B. Tech. The minimum qualifying mark is 50% at the UG level.
  • The selection of the candidates depends on their TANCET Rank. Therefore, candidates looking for M Tech admission must sit for a state-level exam and perform well.
  • After qualifying for the exam, candidates have to undergo TANCET Counselling conducted by Anna University.

To get into B. Tech admissions in NPR College, the candidates must have passed 10+2 board exams certified by the recognized state board. Based on class 12th marks, a merit list shall be prepared. According to the merit list, students are shortlisted, and further TNEA counselling is held later, seat allotments are done.
