NMU School of Management MBA Admission 

Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) is a two-year, full-time PG degree approved by AICTE. NMU focuses on providing management training to rural and tribal students to develop their businesses and careers. It also enables students to acquire management business needs from business and develop an entrepreneurial instinct as a form of employment for management students.

 

North Maharashtra University MBA Eligibility

Applicants are eligible for admission to the PG program if they have achieved a minimum of 50% marks (or an equivalent CGPA) during their undergraduate studies.

 

However, candidates from the backward class category, including SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC/SEBC candidates from Maharashtra state, must secure a minimum of 45% marks. The annual intake for MBA is 66 seats.

 

  • Students in their final graduation year can provisionally apply for the MAH CET exam.
  • Individuals applying under special categories such as NRI/Foreign National/Foreign Student/PIO/Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries must meet the essential educational qualification criteria.
  • Applicants with CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT scores can apply for All India seats.
  • The DTE conducts the counselling process utilizing the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) method.
  • Admission to the MBA program is carried out strictly following the guidelines set by the DTE, Mumbai.
  • Prospective candidates must follow the procedure established by the DTE, which includes participating in the MAH MBA CET organized by the DTE, Mumbai. Additionally, candidates are required to participate in Group Discussions and Personal Interviews as part of the admission process.
  • These admission procedures adhere to the regulations stipulated by the DTE, Mumbai (Maharashtra State), and comply with the policies of KBC North Maharashtra University.
  • North Maharashtra University MBA Cutoff is 70 percentile in MAH MBA CET.

 

NMU School of Management BBA Admission

The School provides undergraduate (UG) programs lasting for four years, following the guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020). These programs include:

 

BBA (Management) with majors in Marketing, Finance, and HR and minors in Economics and Data Science. A North Maharashtra University entrance exam determines BBA (Management) program admission.

 

The admission process for BBA includes seat reservations as follows:

  • 70% of the seats (32) are reserved for candidates who have passed their passing exam from Maharashtra State Boards.
  • The remaining 30% of the total seats (13 seats) are reserved for applicants who have passed their qualifying examinations from other State Boards in different states of India.
  • Additionally, seat reservations for candidates belonging to reserved categories from the state of Maharashtra will be by the rules and regulations set by the Government of Maharashtra.

 

BBA Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligible for admission to the BBA programs at the School, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have passed the 10+2 HSC Exam from Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination.
  • Hold a Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy from the Maharashtra Technical Board or equivalent.
  • Have cleared the senior secondary examination conducted by the National Open School, Delhi.
  • Have completed the 10+2 MCVC course from the Maharashtra State Education Board.

 

NMU BBA Admission Process

The admission procedure for the BBA at the School of Management Studies is as follows:

 

Admissions will be granted based on the Common Entrance Test (CET) merit list conducted at the NMU School of Management Studies.

  • Candidates must complete the application form on the university's website, nmu.ac.in.
  • They should apply with the necessary documents, including the mark memos of SSC and HSC, a caste certificate (if applicable), a leaving certificate, and an Aadhar Card (linked with a mobile number).
  • Alternatively, candidates can complete the School of Management Studies form during office hours.
  • A Demand Draft (DD) worth Rs. 500, payable to "Finance and Account Officer, KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon," drawn from a nationalized bank, should be attached to the admission form.
  • The completed admission form should be submitted to the School of Management Studies during office hours.

 

NMU Entrance Exam Pattern

  • The mode of the NMU Entrance Exam will be offline.
  • The question paper will consist of only objective questions.
  • Each question will have four options, of which only one is correct.
  • The entrance examination will consist of a paper lasting 90 minutes, containing 50 questions with a maximum score of 100 marks.
  • Candidates should use a blue or black pen to mark their responses.

NMU offers Bachelor of Management studies in which the program objective is to enable students to gain a deeper understanding of the numerous functions of management. BMS Eligibility Criteria

1) Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 H.S.C, Maharashtra State Examination or equivalent. 

2) Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy from Maharashtra State Technical Council or equivalent.

3) National Open School, Delhi, conduct Higher Secondary School Examination.

4) Candidates must have 10 + 2 MCVC. They must have passed the Maharashtra State Education Board course.

 

How to apply for BMS admission at NMU?

To apply for admission to BMS, follow these steps:

  • Visit the college’s website and download the prospectus and application form.
  • Carefully fill in the required basic details on the application form.
  • Pay the BMS application fee, INR 300, for most programs through a Central Bank of India (CBI) challan. However, for the M.Ed. program, the application fee is INR 1000, and you can choose to pay it using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net banking.
  • After filling out the application form, take a printout of it.
  • Visit the nearest 'Application Receipt Centers' to submit your completed application form and relevant documents.

  • Certificate Course in Advanced Excel: This course helps students understand the functions of Excel, the types of different financial analyses, and the various advanced formulas required when using Excel.
