North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) is one of the prime Educational Institutes incepted in 1984 in Arunachal Pradesh and is currently having Deemed University status. The Institute has been offering programs at UG, PG & Research levels such as B.Tech, B.Sc., MBA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in several specializations.

NERIST B.Tech Admissions:
The Students with basic eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent in the Science stream with 45% marks in PCM subjects from the well-recognized board are offered six specializations in the B.Tech program for four years of duration. The students will be selected for admission based on the NEE entrance exam conducted by the Institute. The students should provide all the necessary documents to verify the B.Tech program's final entries.

NERIST B.Sc. Admissions:
The Institute is offering a B.Sc. program with one specialization: forestry, for three years of duration. To apply, students must have basic eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent in the Science stream with 45% marks in PCM subjects from a well-recognized board. The B.Sc. program's selection process depends on the marks obtained in the NEE exam conducted by the Institute.

NERIST M.Tech Admissions:
The Institute has been providing an M.Tech program with six specializations for two years. The students will be selected for admission based on a written test held by the Institute. The basic eligibility required for applying to the program is a bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology in an applicable discipline with 50% marks from a well-recognized university. The students shortlisted for the M.Tech admissions will have to produce the verification documents.

NERIST M.Sc. Admission:
The Institute offers an M.Sc. program with four specializations for two years. NERIST MBA Admissions:
The Institute is offering a two-year Management program at the PG level rather than just an engineering program. The students must have basic eligibility for a bachelor’s degree in the applicable stream with 50% marks from a well-recognized university. The MBA program's selection procedure will be based on academic merit followed by MAT or CAT exam scores.

NERIST has achieved an AAA+ grade by Career 360. NERIST holds a prestigious rank of 186 among the top NIRF-rated Engineering colleges. For B.Tech eligibility, applicants must meet academic and age criteria. Academically, they should have passed Higher Secondary or Class 12th. Selection for B.Tech is based on academic merit and performance in an entrance test. North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology cutoff for GC falls between 45563 and 54825 rank. Candidates can apply by following the application process outlined on the institute's official website.
For joining NERIST entrance test is mandatory and I also wrote this entrance exam. I secured like 41 rank because of which my name was in merit list. The college asked me to participate in the counselling where I choose my course and got my documents verified. I got B.Tech seat in the North eastern regional institute of science and technology admission counselling.
I found fees structure for courses very feasible in this college. For B.Tech I paid approximately 12,600 per year. Scholarship on the basis of merit and score is offered by the college. College offers UG & PG courses in engineering. I completed B.Tech in computer science engineering from this college with great experience. Minimum eligibility required for admission was to have at least 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 with PCM as the compulsory subject. Final selection for admission is made on the basis of valid score as per the cut off marks in NEE entrance exam. Mode of application and examination of this entrance exam is online.
