Nirma Institute of Management is a private co-ed institution situated at Ahmedabad, Gujarat under the ambit of  Nirma University. It was established in 1996 and is accredited by AICTE. It is also recognized by UGC. NIM mainly focuses on producing unique leaders and specialized managers and is considered a top B school in Gujarat. They provide MBA and Executive Diploma in Management for graduate candidates, Ph. D for Post Graduate candidates, and also offer integrated courses of BBA+MBA & B. Tech+ MBA for students who have just passed 10+2 level. Indian as well as NRI candidates can apply to this college.   • NIM MBA course is a PG course which is of 2 years. The college offers specialization in 9 streams. There are 240 seats available for this course annually.

Nirma Institute of Management Integrated BBA+MBA Admission

  •  NIM BBA+MBA course is a full-time course of 5 years. The college allots 216 seats annually for this course.
  • The candidates who want to get admission to the NIM Integrated BBA+MBA course must score more than 60% marks at 10+2 level from a recognized board.
  • The NRI candidates can also apply for admission after producing the equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
  • If the candidate is NRI sponsored, he has to produce a sponsorship letter from NRI as well as documentary evidence of the sponsor having NRI status.
  • Additionally, the applicant should have appeared for the IPMAT examination conducted by IIM, Indore, and scored valid marks in it.
  • The NRI candidate can skip the IPMAT examination as the institute itself conducts its admission test for them.
  • The final selection is done based on a 10+2 score, IPMAT score, and Personal Interview conducted by the institution for students from other states.
  • For Gujarati candidates, the final selection is done based on their performance in class 12th and Personal interview.
  • For NRI candidates the final selection is done on basis of their marks in the admission test of the institute, Personal Interview as well as their marks in the 10+2 examination.

The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with more than 60% marks.

The selection for candidates from outside the state will be done on basis of a combined merit list prepared after evaluating the 10+2 score, IPMAT as well as score in a Personal Interview.

The selection of Gujarati candidates is done on basis of 10+2 marks as well as a Personal Interview.

The selection of NRI candidates is done on basis of their marks in the admission test conducted by the institute, Personal Interview as well as marks in 10+2 level.

Nirma Institute of Management Integrated B. Tech + MBA Admission

  •  NIM B. Tech + MBA course is a full-time course of 5 years. The college allots 66 seats annually for this course. NIM B. Tech course offers specialization in Computer Science Engineering.
  • The candidates who want to get admission to NIM Integrated B. Tech + MBA course must score more than 60% marks at 10+2 level from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
  • Additionally, the candidate must have appeared for the JEE-Mains examination.
  • The final selection is done based on marks obtained in JEE Mains Examination as well as a Personal Interview.

Nirma Institute of Management Diploma Admission

  •  NIM Diploma course is a full-time course of 8 months. NIM Diploma course offers 5 specializations. They are Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Operations Management. A particular program is offered only if more than 20 candidates opt for it.
  • The candidates who want to get admission in the NIM Diploma course must complete a 3-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent course recognized by Nirma University as eligible for Postgraduate studies and a minimum of 2 years work experience. The only post-graduated work experience will be considered valid for the NIM Diploma course.
  • The selection will be done on basis of personal interviews, work experience, and academic records.

  • NIM Ph. D course is of 4 years. NIM Ph. D course offers specialization in Management Studies. The college offers full-time and part-time Ph. D course.
  • The candidates applying for full-time Ph. D course should have a Master's degree or equivalent professional degree with more than 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade "B" on UGC 7 point scale.
  • The selection is done on basis of the admission test conducted by the college. The candidates who have qualified for UGC NET are exempted from the test.
  • The candidates scoring more than 50% marks in admission tests or UGC NET examinations are called for Personal Interview are shortlisted further.

Nirma Institute of Management has ranked its MBA program in 17th position by IIRF. It is affiliated with Nirma University and accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. The MBA is the most common PG program opted by students that shows a higher score scope in building a career. To get admission for the MBA course, applicants are required to have finished their minimum of 3 years of UG degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Also, it is necessary for the students to have appeared for CAT entrance for selections. The overall accepted cut-off percentile is 78. Thus, eligible candidates can send in their valid applications in online or offline mode.

The Executive MBA fees at Nirmala University are INR 46000. The payment can be made in installments every year.
