The university was started in 1983 as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology as an autonomous Institute in New Delhi. NSIT was the only institute under the University of Delhi. The institute received its University status in 2018 and changed its name to Netaji Subhas University of Technology. Currently, the university offers 3 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, and they are B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D.

The university currently offers one engineering program at the master's level with various specializations. The candidate is supposed to satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the university.

NSUT M.Tech Admission

NSUT provides one master-level engineering course, M.Tech, with 8 specializations for the candidates to choose from. The candidates will have to be a graduate in B.Tech or AMIE degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate. The candidate must have a decent score on the GATE exam.

NSUT Application Process:

The application form for NSUT can be filled out and submitted online by paying INR of 1000/- and INR 500/- for the reserved and women category. The fee has to be paid through State Bank Collect. NAAC has accredited NSUT with an 'A' grade, and NIRF ranking is 88 for BTech. NSUT offers 19 specializations under the BTech course. The NSUT eligibility criteria for B Tech requires candidates to have cleared Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate (65% for SC/ST categories). NSUT admission process for B Tech involves appearing in JEE-Main scores, followed by seat allotment through the JAC Delhi Counselling process. The NSUT JEE Main cutoff for the General Category ranged from 6909 to 14250 rank.

We have to write the JEE mains to get Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology admissions for the B.Tech. This entrance exam is based on the physics, mathematics and chemistry of 90 questions. On the basis of the marks in the entrance test and according to cut-off marks that I had got we get seat in the engineering college for B.tech.

NSIT accepts applications from students who have passed 10+2 board exams with a min of 65% marks followed by the JEE Main exam and further seat allocation will be based on counseling results. The mode of application is accepted online at NSIT. 


Can I know the overall cut-off rank accepted for B-Tech admissions at NSIT?

The overall Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology cut-off for B-Tech admissions through JEE Main for the available specializations is 6909-71680. 


Can I get B-Tech admissions at NSIT without any entrance exam?

Students interested in the B-Tech program must have appeared for the entrance exam and counseling rounds like JEE Main/ JAC Delhi/ DASA. NSIT Admissions are based on test and counseling results


Can I be directly admitted to the B-Tech program at NSIT?

Students looking for B-Tech admissions at NSIT must have passed 10+2 followed by JEE Main or DASA OR JAC Delhi counseling results. If they haven’t met the minimum scores, then they can opt for direct or management quota seats. 


I want to know if the cut-off for M-Tech at NSIT is accepted.

NSIT will consider graduation marks along with GATE scores for M-Tech admissions. The overall GATE cut-off score is 350 - 376 marks.
