NPTI B.Tech Admission
NPTI Nagpur offers admission to the B Tech program in Power Engineering, which lasts for four years. AICTE approves the B Tech course offered by NPTI.
- An applicant must have at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to be considered for B.Tech at NPTI.
- 5% marks relaxation applicable for SC/ST students in the eligibility criteria.
- The selection of the candidates depends on their performance in the state-level entrance test MHT CET Entrance Exam.
- After the declaration of MHT CET results, qualifiable students must undergo CAP Counselling to acquire admission seats.
- NPTI offers admission to the B Tech Power Engg by following the guidelines prescribed by DTE, Maharashtra.
- Henceforth, admission seekers have to register online for CAP rounds through the DTE website.
B Tech Application Process
- Candidates willing to join for B Tech at NPTI have to attend the MHT CET Entrance Exam. As a primary step, register online for MHT CET through the DTE website.
- The application fees for MHT CET cost around INR 800. (In case of reserved category, fees cost INR 600)
- After filling the application form, submit it and take the printout of the same for further reference.
- After qualifying in MHT CET, register for CAP (Centralized admission process).
- Visit the DTE official website, fill the CAP application form and make the payment of INR 1000 as CAP application fees. (INR 800 for reserved category)
NPTI PG Diploma Admission
A PG Diploma in Transmission Distribution System is available at NPTI Nagpur. The programme lasts 26 weeks.
- A BE/ B Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Power Engineering is required to apply for PG Diploma at NPTI.
- Sponsored candidates are entitled to 25% of the seats at NPTI. Government-mandated reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PH applicants at NPTI.
- The selection criteria for PG Diploma at NPTI depends on the candidate's performance in the last qualifying exam/academic merit.
PGDM Application Process
- Download the application form from the NPTI official website.
- Print out the NPTI Application form and fill it out.
- Duly filled application form and a DD of INR 500 have to be sent in favour of NPTI (WR) Nagpur, shall be delivered to the Institute's principal director by the deadline.
- On the other side of the DD, the candidate's contact information should be written.
