The Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management serves as a distinguished Center of Excellence, primarily focusing on enhancing the skills and expertise of professionals in Public Policy, Financial Management, and various governance areas, aiming to uphold the highest values of specialized competence and practice.

 

Established in 1993 as a registered society under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, NIFM Faridabad initially trained officers selected through the Civil Services Examination by the UPSC. These officers were subsequently assigned to various government services responsible for overseeing senior and top management roles involving financial and accounting matters within the Government of India.

 

In addition to its capacity-building initiatives, AJNIFM is deeply engaged in rigorous research in various areas, such as accounting, audit, financial management, parliamentary financial control, and other topics relevant to public policy and delivery systems. The findings of these research endeavours are disseminated through the publication of research papers, journals, and books.

Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management Course Admission

Arun Jaitley NIFM offers its flagship program, an MBA in Finance, to government and private sector candidates. Government sector employees are eligible for NIFM direct admission to this program.

 

As for candidates in the private sector, they need to meet certain criteria to apply. Additionally, the college offers admission to professional courses such as Post Graduate Diploma in Government Accounting and Audit, Management Development Programmes and Probationers Training Courses (NIFM Certification Courses).

NIFM MBA Admission

The flagship programme of NIFM is the MBA Programme. Students are mandated to ensure eligibility before seeking admission.

 

NIFM Eligibility Criteria MBA Finance

A. Private Participants / Business Directors:

  • Participants must have graduated from an Indian university/institution documented by the AIU with at least 50% marks. CA, CS, CWA, CFA, BE/B etc. Priority will be given to participants with qualified qualifications. Technology etc.
  • Candidates must pass any of the All India Entrance Tests (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or GMAT) and submit a score of over 2 years.
  • Minimum age of 30 from the course's start date.

B. Government Authorities:

  • The minimum percentage of graduation-level grades must be 50%.
  • The maximum age of participants must not exceed 45 on the program start date.
  • Junior/senior employees working in Central Government/Union Territories are eligible to apply.
  • Government employees are exempt from the Common Entrance Test (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT)

NIFM MBA Financial Management Eligibility Criteria

  • All participants must possess the following qualifications: Graduate or equivalent from an Indian/foreign university (University) recognized by the AIU. At least 50% is required for graduation.
  • The maximum age for all participants is 50 years from the deadline for scholarship application submission.
  • Civil servants must hold mid/senior positions in their organizations and serve for at least three years.
  • Exam approved by AICTE and Must have at least three years of experience in a managerial position in a Corporate organization.

NIFM PG Diploma Admission (Post Graduate Diploma in Government Accounting & Audit)

  • For admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Government Accounting & Audit program at NIFM, applicants must have at least a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution.
  • Selection is based on the academic merit in the last qualifying exam.

How to apply for the NIFM Faridabad Course Admission:

 

The application process for AJNIFM Faridabad in 2023 is as follows:

For Private Participants/Corporate Executives:

  • Complete the prescribed NIFM application form, ensuring all sections are filled in accurately.
  • Include a resume, proof of your educational qualifications, category certificate (if applicable), and work experience details (if any).
  • Attach a copy of your valid CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or GMAT scorecard.
  • Pay the application fee of INR 2,000 either through Demand Draft or online using RTGS/NEFT. Make sure to mention the relevant reference number on your application.
  • Send the finished application form and all pertinent documents, along with the application fee, to the following address: AJ-NIFM, Sector-48, Pali Road, Near Badkhal Lake, Faridabad-121001, Haryana. It should be done on or before the NIFM admission date.
  • Mark the envelope with "Application for MBA (Finance/Financial Management)
  • Additionally, email the duly filled application form to finance@nifm.ac.in.

For Government Sponsored Officers/Candidates:

  • Government-sponsored candidates are eligible for direct admission to the full-time MBA program.
  • Ensure that your application is complete in all respects and submit it to AJ-NIFM by the last date.
  • The Institute will shortlist candidates and inform them and their sponsors accordingly.
  • The Institute asserts the right to interview such candidates. All original supporting documents/testimonials (starting from the matriculation certificate and including a relieving letter from the organization) will be required during the final admission process.

Required Documents:

  • Copies of your 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets and certificates.
  • For candidates in their final year of graduation, provide semester-wise or year-wise mark sheets, the admit card for their impending final year exam or a letter from the Head/Dean of the College/University certifying the same.
  • Copy of the category certificate from central/state government, if applicable.
  • Copy of a valid scorecard from CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or GMAT.
  • Copy of any professional qualification, such as CA, CS, CWA, CFA, or any other relevant professional qualification.
  • If you pay offline, include a Demand Draft for the application fee.

Note:

  • All documents above should be self-certified or attested, except for the Demand Draft.
  • The Demand Draft for the application fee should be made out in favour of "Accounts Officer, NIFM" and be payable at Faridabad.

Admission for MBA at National Institute of Financial Management:

  • Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • Candidate must have a valid score in CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT entrance examination.
  • Admission will be done on the basis of academic credentials, entrance exam and also performance in personal interview.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.
  • Candidate can apply online/offline with the required details.
  • Selection will be done based on the marks obtained in the previous examination followed by Personal Interview.
