Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College is a self-financed private engineering college in Hyderabad that was founded in 2001. NBA & NAAC accredits NMREC with an 'A' Grade. The institute has always strived to provide high-quality education. The NMREC labs offer excellent infrastructure and equipment, allowing students to flourish in their engineering field through practical experimentation studies and research. An Industry Institute Coordination Cell has been formed at the institute to promote industry-institute collaboration. In addition, the college includes an Innovation and Incubation Cell that encourages innovation and start-up companies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from any recognized board to be eligible for the B.Tech course at NMREC.
  • The minimum qualifying marks should be above 45%. At the same time, reserved categories can secure a minimum of 40% marks.

Selection Criteria

  • The TS EAMCET or JEE Main score is required for admission to the B.Tech program at NMREC. The AP EAMCET is a state-level admission exam that takes place offline.
  • Diploma holders can also use their TS ECET results to get Lateral Entry into the second year of the B.Tech program at NMREC.
  • The number of seats available in the B.Tech program is divided into two categories, A and B.
  • Admission to category A, the Convener Quota, is achieved through the AP EAMCET, while admission to category B, the Management Quota, is obtained through an individual application.
  • Students who qualify in EAMCET must undergo counseling to secure admission seats under Convenor Quota. ( TS EAMCET Code is NREC)
  • Students who wish to secure admission under the management quota at Nalla Malla Reddy College can apply directly by filling out an application form

NMREC M. Tech Admission

M Tech at Nalla Malla Reddy College is available in four major branches. They are:

  • Computer Networks & Information Security (CSE Department)
  • VLSI Systems Design (ECE Department)
  • CAD/CAM (Mechanical Department)
  • Electrical Power Engineering (EEE Department)

Eligibility Criteria

  • For M.Tech courses, a BE or B. Tech degree in a relevant field of study is necessary.
  • The minimum marks should be above 50% at UG degree in any discipline.

Selection Criteria

  • NMREC admits students to M.Tech programs based on their TS PGECET or GATE scores. The PGECET is a state-level offline exam.
  • Admission to the convener quota is made through TS PGECET counseling. For admission to the Management Quota at NMREC, candidates can apply directly by visiting the college's official website.
  • For M.Tech courses, a BE or B.Tech degree in a relevant field of study is necessary. In addition, candidates for the M.Tech program must have passed the PGECET or GATE examination.

NMREC MBA Admission

Under a choice-based credit structure, the Department of Management Studies offers a two-year full-time MBA. The course is a four-semester full-time curriculum.

  • Candidates who have done a UG degree with 50% marks can apply for MBA admission at NMREC.
  • Admission to MBA at the NMREC is determined by the TS ICET score, followed by the ICET Counselling.
  • There are 60 places in the MBA program, with 42 seats under the convener quota and 18 under the management quota.

NMREC Application Process

At Nalla Malla Reddy College, offline applications are accepted for B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs. Candidates should apply by following the steps below:

  • On the college's website, you can find a course-specific application form.
  • Fill in all the application forms and send them to the college address with the needed documents, such as a genuine certificate, TC, entrance exam rank card, etc.
  • The INR 2000 application fee for the MBA can be paid in cash (in person) or by DD payment to "Principal, Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College" in Hyderabad.

We have two category of process conducted in the Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College admissions like category A and category B. In category A is the once who qualify the EAMCET or ICET for B.tech admissions and also participate in the counselling. Mostly category A seats will be filled through the government. Category B admissions will be done through direct admission which is also termed as management quota. I have taken admission in category A only through the EAMCET for the B.Tech course. College will also have some scholarships provided for the students based on the merit in the qualifying academics and the fee for the category A people will reasonable.

I am doing BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and the academic curriculum is good and it is industry relevant. Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College admissions over here are done on the basis of entrance exam and I wrote TS-EAMCET Entrance Exam and got seat in 3rd round and I got around 34525 ranks and through counseling I got seat allotment in this college and am very happy for being the student of this college. Scholarship facility is provided for the backward categories as per the norms of government and also there will be concession in course fee and the NMREC applications can be applied through online mode

Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College provides admission for the B-Tech CSE program based on TS EAMCET scores. The accepted cut-off rank for CSE is 37251.  

Is there B.Tech in bioinformatics? If so, what are the criteria and counselling process to join the college?

No, B.Tech in bioinformatics is not offered while there are other six disciplines or streams available under the same course. Therefore, students willing to seek admission to NMREC shall take seats in various offered streams.

Students with minimum qualifications like being passed intermediate with a minimum of 50% and above aggregate are eligible to take management quota admission to B Tech at NMREC. Individual applications are required for admittance to category B, which is the Management Quota.
