Nagarjuna Institute of Engineering Technology and Management offers Bachelors in Engineering course. The total number of seats available in NIETM for B.E. courses is 240. The list of B.E. program specializations offered at NIETM is mentioned below,

  1. B.E. in Civil Engineering
  2. B.E. in Electrical Engineering
  3. B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  4. B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering

Students will be considered eligible to apply in the B.E. program at NIETM if,

  1. They must hold the nationality of India.
  2. Must appear in the state-level common entrance test MHT-CET.
  3. Candidates have passed 10+2 or HSC level board examinations from a recognized council of education.
  4. The compulsory 3 out of 4 subjects should be Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  5. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  6. Relaxation of 5% aggregate marks will be given to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
  7. The relaxation will be provided only to the reserved category students belonging to the state of Maharashtra.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates have to undertake the state-level entrance exam MHT-CET.
  • For admission in the B.E. program at NIETM,
  1. Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored 150 marks in MHT-CET. These will be cumulative marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  2. For the candidates belonging to the reserved category, they must have scored 135 marks in MHT-CET.
  • Candidates' selection will be based on the marks scored in the state-level entrance exam, followed by CAP Counselling.
  • Through CAP rounds, the final seat will be allotted. While participating in counselling, candidates must choose NIETM as their preference in the option filling round.
  • If the student's MHT CET Rank is identical to the NIETM, B Tech cut off the rank, then their possibility of securing B Tech admission seat.

I have selected Civil Engineering stream since I was interested in that stream and right now am pursuing final year. Nagarjuna Institute of Engineering, Technology & Management Admission fee is actually moderate and it is not much low and not much expensive too I paid the fee around 80,000 per annum and the total fee costs around 3.2 Lakhs. Actually I had appeared for MHT-CET Entrance Exam and secured good score. Through CAP round I got selected for admissions and also candidates who have secured good rank in JEE Main Entrance Exam are also eligible to get admission for BE Course in NIETM, Nagpur
