The MRK Institute of Technology is located in the Tamil Nadu state of India, at Cuddalore. It is allied with Anna University and is accredited by the AICTE. MRKIT offers admission to the B Tech and M Tech at the UG level. MRK Institute of Technology has effectively attracted and taught young brains to become high-level professionals in the future. Admission to the B Tech at M Tech at MRKIT is based on academic merit and an entrance test score.

MRK Institute of Technology B Tech Admission 

MRKIT offers admission to the UG program BE/B Tech. Five streams are available in BE/B Tech. The intake for each branch is 60 seats, and the course duration will be for four years. 

  • For admission to the B Tech at MRKIT College is based on TNEA Merit Rank. Anna University will publish the TNEA merit list based on 10+2 Marks. 
  • Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks in the 10+2 science stream are eligible to apply for B Tech admission at MRKIT.
  • At first, students must register for TNEA Counseling based on their 12th score. Later, Anna University will publish the TNEA Merit list.

MRK Institute of Technology M Tech Admission 

M Tech degree at MRKIT is available in two specializations. The specializations include computer science and engineering and Thermal engineering.

  • Candidates who have obtained above 50% marks can seek admission to M Tech at MRKIT.
  • In addition to this, they must also clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET.
  • Thus, students have to register online for an entrance exam. After performing well in an exam, qualified candidates have to attend the TANCET Counselling.

To get admitted to M.Tech, you must have a B.Tech grade point average of at least 50%.

TANCET is the sole criterion for selection, which is followed by Counselling.

MRK Institute of Technology Admission process 

Students who are willing to apply for admission in B Tech or M Tech at MRK College must make sure of the eligibility criteria for the specific course. MRKIT follows the admission guidelines prescribed by Anna University. For B Tech admission in MKRIT, applicants have to apply through TNEA Counselling. The final seat allocation takes place through the TNEA rank and choices filled in option entry.

  • Go to the college’s official website.
  • Go to the homepage and click the Apply Now button.
  • Fill out the needed information to register. You will receive your login credentials once you have completed the registration procedure.
  • Fill out a TNEA application form using those login credentials. Complete the form with all required information.
  • Make your application fee payment online.
  • After finishing the application procedure, take a screenshot of the page as proof in case there is a discrepancy.
