MNMJEC is a private Institute established in the year 1994, Chennai. Tamil Nadu Educational and Medical Trust established the Institute. MNMJEC is approved by AICTE and affiliated with AU, Chennai. To maintain student's standards, the Institute provides high-quality education in Engineering and Management. In addition, MNMJEC offers courses like UG and PG for deserving candidates. Admission for UG and PG course at MNMJEC is made through TNEA and TANCET exam scores.

  • The Institute of MNMJEC offers two UG program and two PG program to eligible students.
  • Admission for BE and B. Tech course at MNMJEC is based on TNEA counselling sessions.
  • Admission for the ME course at MNMJEC is based on marks scored TANCET entrance exam scores.
  • Admission for the MBA course at MNMJEC is based on the TANCET entrance exam.
  • For lateral entry, candidates must have passed with 80% marks, and selection is through counselling.
  • Students who have qualified GATE and CAT can also apply for MBA and ME programs.

MNMJEC UG course Admission 

The Institute of MNMJEC offers a B. Tech / BE course in six disciplines for four years. The Institute provides 120 students per academic year.  

  • Eligibility for B. Tech / BE course at MNMJEC, candidates must have scored 45% marks in the 10+2 exam with PCM as main subjects. 
  • Admission for BE at MNMJEC is based on Merit and TNEA counselling conducted by AU.
  • Eligibility for BE lateral course at MNMJEC, students must have passed diploma or B.Sc degree with Maths as compulsory subjects. 
  • Candidates who belong to OBC / ST and SC category must have passed with 40% marks.

MNMJEC ME course Admission 

The Institute offers two years full-time ME course to eligible students. ME course at MNMJEC offers four specializations with an intake of 24 students per year. 

  • Eligibility for ME course at MNMJEC, candidates must have passed B. Tech or BE from a recognized board. 
  • Admission for the ME course at MNMJEC is based on GATE / TANCET examination scores.
  • Candidates of the SC / ST category must have scored 45% to get Admission.
  • It is an advantage for the candidates who have work experience in a relevant field.

MNMJEC MBA course Admission 

MNMJEC offers an MBA course for two years with an intake of 60 students per academic year. Eligible students with qualifying marks shall apply.

  • Eligibility for MBA course at MNMJEC, applicants must have 50% marks B.Com / BBA / B. Tech or any other relevant degree. 
  • The admission MBA program at MNMJEC is made through MAT / XAT / CMAT / CAT / TANCET admission.
  • Candidates who have relevant work experience will have an additional advantage.

The institution offers under graduation & post-graduation courses in engineering and management courses. I have completed B.Tech in civil engineering from this college. Admissions are on the basis on score in entrance examinations, student must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. For BE student can appear for TNEA, for ME: GATE, TANCET and for MBA courses student can appear for CAT, MAT or CMAT entrance examinations. Minimum eligibility needed to appear for these exams is that, student must have completed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks with PCM as the compulsory subject. Fees structure for courses is feasible; I completed my graduation with just 1.5Lakhs.
