Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will receive a provisional admission offer, requiring them to pay the prescribed tuition fees within a specified time frame to secure their spot in the program.

Upon confirming their admission by paying the fees, students will receive a unique enrollment ID and login credentials to access the University's Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS serves as the virtual classroom, where students can access course materials, attend lectures, interact with faculty and peers, submit assignments, and participate in discussions.

To initiate the admission process, applicants must submit the duly filled and signed admission form, along with the necessary documents and applicable fees. The mandatory documents and the online fee receipt can be conveniently submitted through e-mail to the university counsellor.

The following documents are required for the admission process:

  • Duly filled Admission Form with the name exactly as mentioned on the 10th Std Mark Sheet.
  • The student's signature on the Admission Form should match the ID Card submitted.
  • Colour scanned copy of the Degree Certificate.
  • Colour scanned copies of all year/semester mark sheets.
  • Colour scanned copy of the 10th Std. Mark sheet and Certificate.
  • Colour scanned copy of the 12th Std. Mark sheet and Certificate.
  • Three passport-size colour photos or soft copies.
  • Colour scanned copy of any government-issued photo ID proof (e.g., PAN card, Voter's ID, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, etc.).
  • The relevant Name Change document is needed in case of a name change.
  • Per the university policy, fees should be paid through Cheque/DD/Online Payment, and a receipt should be provided.
  • By adhering to the submission of required documents and fees as per the university guidelines, applicants can complete the admission process effectively.

MGR University Provisional Admission Process

Upon applying for the course, students will receive reference numbers, and they will be guided by the provisional admission policy outlined below:

Acknowledgement Letter and Study Material: Students will receive an acknowledgement letter with a reference number, study material, and login credentials for the learning management system. The enrollment number will be communicated to the students via their registered e-mail address. This process is subject to fee clearance in the university account.

Enrollment Number Generation: After scrutinizing the documents and verifying the eligibility criteria, the university's enrollment department will generate an enrollment number for the student, confirming their registration with the university.

Exam Eligibility and Results: Students under the provisional category with reference/provisional numbers will not be allowed to appear for exams until they are confirmed as enrolled students. If, in special cases, these students are allowed to appear for exams with reference numbers, their results will be kept on hold until they fulfil the eligibility norms and receive an official enrollment number from the university. The student must submit all required documents promptly after applying for the DRMGR Online education program.

Registration Status: Submission of the application form, documents, and fees does not automatically grant the student the status of a registered student of the university.

Pending Documents: If the enrollment team requires any pending documents, the support team will communicate the same to the students for timely submission.

MGR University Online MBA Examination

The Dr M.G.R. Institute offers the semester's exams online after each term. The final exams for the semester would last an hour and a half. Students will get a user ID & password through e-mail at the registered e-mail address before the start of the online examinations. Passing the tests will result in 75 points, with three subjective questions for 7 points each and 54 objective questions worth 1. The Dr university will reveal the results 30 days after the tests are completed, and mark sheets are accessible 15 days after that.

Assignment 1 (MCQ-Based Objective Type Questions)

  • Assignment 1 will be conducted through the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Students should submit their aadhar credentials for accessing the assignments through the OTP verification.
  • The student would get 10 random queries of 1 mark each.
  • The assignments are based on the course outcome for every Subject. After snapping the timer set at 10 Min, students must effort all 10 queries.
  • Passing criteria is 40% in Assignment-1.
  • The system assesses the objective assignments & displays the scores to the students.
  • If the student cannot attain the 40% criteria, the pupil has to re-attempt the said assignment.

Assignment 2 (Subjective Assessment):

  • The subjective projects are based on the course outcome for every Subject.
  • Students should submit their aadhar credentials for accessing the assignments through the OTP verification.
  • The student needs to answer any 1 query out of numerous questions given (10 marks).
  • The questions would be based on the sequence outcome, and a rubric would be showed for the student.
  • The students would need to download the queries from LMS & upload the response sheet on LMS.

Assignment 3 – Discussion Forum for every Subject

  • There would be one discussion forum per Subject listed for every Subject, which would be part of continuous Evaluation.
  • The student should attend the debate forum arranged for every Subject.
  • The discussion forum would be scheduled within the learning period available for the students.
  • Every graded discussion forum for a subject would be 5 marks, as published on LMS under Assignments
  • The passing criteria are 40%
