The MBBS admission is completely based on NEET score and the seats are reserved like 85 seats are available for Karnataka students and other remaining 15 seats are reserved for All India Quota candidates. Total MBBS course intake in this institute is 100. MBBS admission in Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences is simple through NEET followed with academic performance. Since the MIMS College is Government College the course fee is less and duration of the course is 5 and half years with one year (12 months) training period. Admission process is simple i.e. through NEET counselling. Once the students are allotted for the college then the admission is almost finished.
When I finished my 12th I participated in the NEET which was held in the April month so through I was able to actually get the MIMS admissions for the MBBS course. I had got the marks which fetched me admission easily in this institute. According to the merit list that was prepared and counselling I was selected for the admission in this institute. For NEET they actually conduct the national level counselling in which we will be getting the seat according to the NEET score we have obtained. Everyone in this college will get government seat only by qualifying in the entrance test and the fee is nominal. They do not charge any donations from us means students.
Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences admissions are done offline, MIMS application fee is reasonable. In order to enroll into MIMS, the aspirants will have to meet the MIMS eligibility criteria. Wherein, the candidate needs to be 17 years old at the time of admission and should have secured a min. of 50% average marks in their 12th grade science stream from a recognized institute. MIMS merit admissions require the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria plus have a good NEET-UG or a KCET score. For MIMS direct admissions, meeting the eligibility criteria is sufficient, NEET or KCET score isn’t necessary.
