The Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women - MRECW (Autonomous Institution, UGC, Government of India) was founded in 2008 and is accredited by the AICTE in New Delhi. The college has been granted UGC Autonomous Status by the Government of India and is ranked in the 150-200 range by NIRF Indian Ranking-2020 and NIRF Indian Ranking-2018, respectively.

Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women was founded in 2002 in Hyderabad, Telangana. The NBA has accredited the college, and the NAAC has given it an A grade. In addition, outlook India has named it among the top 100 colleges in India. Undergraduate and postgraduate studies in technology and management are available at the college. Each professor of Malla Reddy College has a minimum of 5-10 years of expertise. A total of 24 members of the faculty have won national and international recognition.

MRECW B.TECH ADMISSION

The undergraduate program is divided into four departments. Admission to the program is based on the results of the EAMCET exam. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, is holding an online test. However, under the NRI quota, management will fill some seats.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The candidate must have a cumulative score of at least 45% in equivalent subjects at 10+2 level. In addition, they shall have studied PCM as the main subjects.
  • Students looking for B Tech Lateral Entry admission at MRECW shall have completed their Diploma course in the concerned branch to be eligible.

Selection Criteria

  • B Tech selection criteria at Malla Reddy College is based on TS EAMCET Rank.
  • As a primary step, candidates need to register for an entrance exam through the official website of the concerned exam conducting authority.
  • Candidates must undertake an entrance test and score a valid rank in EAMCET as per the cut off standards.
  • Then, candidates will be eligible to participate in the TS EAMCET Counselling. 70% of seats under convenor/government quota will be filled through EAMCET Rank followed by counselling.
  • While remaining 30% of seats is reserved for Management/NRI Quota. To be eligible, candidates must obtain above 60% in the 10+2 science stream and have attempted any of the entrance exam JEE Main/EAMCET.
  • In B Tech Second year, 10% of intake is reserved for Lateral Entry Students. For admission, students must clear the TS ECET Entrance Test with a good rank.

The following are the minimum requirements for taking the TS EAMCET:

  • The candidate must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and an Indian citizen.
  • Candidates must have passed the Andhra Pradesh or Telangana board of intermediate education's (10+2) pattern exam or an equivalent.

MRECW MBA ADMISSION 

Students wishing to enrol in the MBA program at Malla Reddy College must pass a recognized state-level test called TSICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test). The exam is for candidates seeking admission to Andra Pradesh institutes' MBA programs. On behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Kakatiya University administers the TS ICET.

NRI quota fills a percentage of seats, and in exceptional cases, ICET rank holders are admitted through this quota. To be considered for admission, candidates must have a score of at least 55 percent.1Criteria for Eligibility

  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of study and a grade point average of at least 50% is required (45 percent marks in the case of reserved categories).
  • In their final year of qualifying examinations, candidates are eligible to apply if their results are expected to be released on or before the TS ICET Counselling Process.
  • Also, candidates seek admission under Management Quota at MRECW. To be eligible, candidates must score a minimum of 55% aggregate marks at the UG level. In addition, they shall have attempted any of the valid management aptitude tests.
  • For admission to the convenor quota, the selection will be based on TS ICET Rank, followed by counselling phases.
