The MOSC Institute offers MBBS courses with 5 and half years, including a 1-year internship and PG courses with 2years for diploma and 3years for the degree course duration. The Admission for UG courses is based on marks scored in the NEET UG entrance examination; for PG courses, admissions are based on NEET PG entrance exam score. Nursing course admissions are based on merit.

Candidates must meet all the requirements set by the Medical Council of India.
Candidates must have an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. They must complete their internship on or before 30th April.
Must have a Permanent Medical Registration from the Medical Council of India

B.SC ( Nursing )

 Passed intermediate exam under the scheme of 10+2 or any equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with minimum 45% aggregate marks

Merit in the qualifying exam.

 

M.SC(Nursing)

Passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic & Post Basic) with 55% aggregate marks. Minimum one-year experience after B.Sc. Basic Nursing.
Candidates must have passed the B.Sc. Paramedical Science in the relevant stream.

Selection will be made based on a qualifying examination, followed by an interview by the management.

 

POST BASIC BACHELOR OF SCIENCE [P.B.B.SC] (NURSING)

Passed 12th class under 10+2 system of education or an equivalent examination from a govt. Approved board/University.
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from any institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

Selection will be made based on
the qualifying examination.

Malankara Orthodox & Syrian Church Medical College Admission criteria for the MBBS program include: The candidate should have pursued their higher secondary education in science stream, provided they have taken physics, chemistry and biology as their majors, and have secured a min. of 50% average marks or an equivalent. Also, the candidate should be of min. 17 years of age. The candidate should also appear for the national level entrance exams such as the NEET. The score secured in NEET will play a vital role in the selection of the candidates. The aspirants can apply offline at MOSCMC admissions office.

For admission into UG (MBBS) course in Malankara Orthodox & Syrian Church Medical College, it is mandatory that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (40% in case of reserved category). Final selection for admission is made on the basis of score in NEET entrance examination and hence it is mandatory that student must have appeared for NEET entrance exam and must have secured valid score as per the cut off marks. Cut off marks for UR was in the range of 701-134 and that of and that of SC/ST/OBC was 119-107 in the year of 2019.
