Mahendra Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission

MIET offers admission to undergraduate programs in engineering and technology. It is necessary for a student to meet the eligibility requirements, which are listed below.

  • Admission to the B Tech program at MIET College is contingent on obtaining a valid TNEA Rank score.
  • To be considered for admission to this college, the student must have earned a minimum of 50% in 10+2.
  • Based on the 10+2 score, the admission authority will prepare the TNEA merit list. Candidates TNEA rank must be identical to the cut-off criteria defined by the respective college.

Mahendra Institute of Engineering and Technology M.Tech Admission

  • At Mahendra College, an M Tech degree is available in five specializations. The intake capacity for M Tech is 18 seats.
  •  In addition, candidates with a grade point average of at least 50% can apply for the M Tech course.
  • They must also clear the TANCET state-level admission exam. Therefore, candidates have to register online or TANCET to take up the entrance exam.

Mahendra Institute of Engineering and Technology Application Process

TANCET and TNEA are the official gateways for candidates wishing to be considered for admission to the B Tech or M Tech at Mahendra Institute.

TANCET

  • Candidates must complete the TANCET registration process by providing a valid email address, phone number, and password.
  • After logging in with your user name and password, proceed to fill out the relevant information.
  • A scanned copy of your passport-size photo and signature should be supplied with your application.
  • Candidates in the general category must pay INR 700 in application costs, while candidates in the reserved category must pay INR 250 in application fees.
  • Fees can be paid with debit/credit cards or by utilizing net banking to transfer funds.

TNEA

  • BE/B Tech Candidates must apply for TNEA by visiting the website's home page and selecting the "register" link.
  • After completing the registration process, applicants must complete the application by providing their personal information and academic qualifications.
  • After you've paid the costs, you can submit your application. The application fees cost approx. INR 500/-
