Mahavir Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) was founded in 2001 under the sponsorships of the Nabajuga Educational Trust. MIET is located in the city of Bhubaneswar. The Institute is a member of the Bhubaneswar-based Mahavir Group of Institutions (MGI). AICTE approves the courses offered by MIET. MIET is a certified ISO 9001:2000 organization. The college provides admission to the B Tech, M Tech, MCA, and the management stream that is MBA for two years.

Mahavir Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission

Before enrolling in the MIET's B.Tech program, students must first meet the Institute's eligibility requirements. To be considered for eligibility, the following traits must be present.

  1. Candidates are supposed to score above 50% in the 10+2 science stream. In the case of SC/ST, 5% of relaxation is applicable.
  2. Here, the selection criteria for B Tech depends on the student's performance in JEE Main or OJEE Exams.

To be considered for admission to the MBA at MIET, students must first meet the Institute's eligibility conditions.

  1. Students must have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% marks. In the reserved category, they will have a 5% relaxation in aggregate score.
  2. For admission to the MBA at MIET, students must appear for the CAT exam.

  1. Candidates looking for M.Tech and MCA degree admission at MIET must have completed their UG course in the concerned stream that is BE/B Tech or BCA with a minimum of 50% score.
  2. To apply for M Tech, candidates are required to perform well in GATE. While for MCA admission, candidates must have an eligible rank in OJEE.

I am pursuing B Tech course in Electrical & Electronics Engineering right now am in final year and the academic curriculum is actually adequate and convenient for studying it. Mahavir Institute of Engineering & Technology admissions for B Tech course will be given on the basis of JEE Main entrance exam score. Admission fee in my college is actually very much nominal when compare to any other college and I paid the admission fee around 68,000 for very first year and also the fee is same for 2nd year onwards hence the total fee costs approximate 2.7 Lakhs hence the fee is flexible for paying it
