Mahaveer Institute of Engineering and Technology Meerut was established in 2010. The college is affiliated with AKTU. The college was established to deliver quality education at an affordable fees structure. The campus locates in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. MIET offers admission to the UG course that is B Tech in four major specializations. Since the college is allied with AKTU, it follows the admission guidelines accordingly.

Mahaveer Institute of Engineering and Technology B Tech Admission

MIET offers a UG level engineering degree Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in various specializations. The B Tech course is available in four branches.

  1. The streams are Civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, electrical and electronics engineering.
  2. The admissions to the B Tech at MIET are based on JEE Main as well as academic merit.
  3. The candidates must have cleared 10 + 2 exam from a recognized school and recognized board.
  4. They must have obtained at least 50% marks in the 10+2 exam science stream as minimum eligibility criteria.

The candidates who are willing to take admission in MIET Meerut must note that the application mode is online, and admission is based on the merit list for JEE mains cut off norms.

  • Thus, a student must apply for JEE Main Exam to sit for an entrance exam. The mode of registration is online. Applicants have to visit the NTA website to apply online.
  • After qualifying in JEE Main, they are eligible to apply for B Tech admission in MIET. Candidates are required to fill the application form by logging into the official website.
