Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research, popularly known as MIMER, is one of India's prestigious private medical colleges. It was established in 1994, located in Pune, Maharashtra. MIMER Pune is now affiliated under the state-university Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Nashik and approved under the Medical Council of India (MCI). The institution has been accredited with a grade "A" by NAAC. The institution was established to cover the gap of society and provide the aim of offering students great medical education facilities. The institution offers MBBS courses with an intake of 150 students per year and MD/MS courses with 35 students per year. MIMER Pune has been associated with the renowned Talegaon General Hospital. The hospital laid its foundation in 1925, and Dr. B. S. alias Bhausaheb Sardesai did it. The hospital was later renamed the Dr. Bhausaheb Sardesai Talegaon Hospital.

Recently I have completed MBBS from this college and I got admission via entrance examinations. For any UG course in medical candidates can appear for NEET entrance exam; NEET is all India level entrance examination which is conducted every year in the month of May. I appeared for NEET entrance exam and on the basis of score/marks I got shortlisted for admission in this college. In addition to this it is mandatory that student must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks. Fees structure for courses and the course curriculum is very flexible.
Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research offers MBBS course and the admission is offered through entrance examinations. 85% seats are offered through government quota; fee structure via government quota is feasible, INR 84, 0290 for complete 5 years of MBBS course for general category students. Candidates must appear for NEET entrance exam and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. NEET application form can be filled online and the application fee for general/OBC is 1,500. Eligibility for admission is that student must have completed 10+2 with min 50% aggregate marks with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board.
