MCE is situated in Chennai, a private institute with approval from AICTE affiliated with Anna University, Madras. MCE offers UG Engg courses like B-Tech, B.E and ME courses etc.; this is a well-known institute and is also known to be provided placement and scholarship provisions for its students. Some of the recruiter's companies do participate in the MCE campus recruitment. Multiple magazines and education committee have ranked MCE for its UG engineering B-Tech programs. In 2020 they were organized and awarded for their overall performance by the educational committees. 

MCE allocation of seats is based on the applicant's evaluation in the qualifying entrance exam. Entrance exams accepted in MCE are TNEA counselling process at the state level. The state offers seat allocation and reservation according to the state government norms. They can submit the applications through the online website of the college. 

  • For B-Tech admissions in MCE, they must have passed in 10+2 exam from the given board. The students need to have core subject scores like PCM with an avg of 50%.
  • MCE admission criteria require good marks in their board exams and passing through the TNEA counselling process. 
  • MCE of Chennai offers a B-Tech program in five disciplines by allotting 120 seats for UG-level courses in the institute.
  • B-Tech specializations in MCE are in five different streams like ME, CE, CSE, E & CE, EEE, etc.
  • The M-Tech admissions in MCE requires an entrance exam in GATE for postgrad level.
  • Applicants can submit the form mode by paying the application amount.
  • For the online application process, student visits the official website of MCE – Click on the online application registration link- Enter all the details about the personal and educational information- save the info- attach the docs as required.
  • Pay the fees for application fees through the online transaction- submit the form and take a copy of the same.
  • The MCE application fees forms can be paid by attaching the DD in the name of the college payable by the applicant.

The institution offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in multiple specialisations. Admissions to all courses are on the basis of entrance examination. I joined this institution to pursue B.Tech in computer science engineering. As per my experience fees structure for courses is feasible. College also offers scholarship to students on the basis of merit. In order to get admission in graduation it is compulsory that student must have secure valid score as per the cut off marks in entrance exams like JEE Mains, TANCET etc. Eligibility to appear for these exams is that student must have completed 10+2 with PCM as the compulsory subject. rnrn
