Madras Christian College was started in Chennai as a school in 1837. The College is affiliated with the University of Madras. The college started its UG and PG self-financed, and govt. Key Facts:

  • To get admission for the UG course, the age limit as of 1 July should be 21 years old, and a relaxation of 5 years is given for physically disabled students and 3 years for women applicants.
  • The applicants other than the Tamil Nadu State Board, CBSE Board, ISCE board, and AISSCE board are supposed to produce an eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.
  • The applicants who have cleared the 10+2 exam from Tamil Nadu State Board by private study & private candidates from CBSE or under the open school system must produce an eligibility certificate.

MCC Post Graduate Courses-

Madras Christian College provides M.Sc., MCA, MA, and MSW courses at the Postgraduate level. Self-Financed MCA course admissions are based on the marks scored by the candidate in TANCET that Anna University conducts.

Another Postgraduate course admission is based on the merit list that will be announced by the college, which will be selected based on the candidates’ scores in the qualifying degree course.

  • The applicants with no than 50% score in graduation are eligible for applying to MSW and MA admissions.
  • Applicants with a UG degree in business Management, Commerce, business administration, or any equal qualification with accounts are eligible to apply for admission in M.Com computer concerned business application.

I want admission to the B.Sc. Psychology at MCC?

B.Sc. is a UG program for 3 years. Students must have passed 10+2 board exams with science subjects and secure min of 50% marks. Selections are based on academic merit and no entrance exam is required.

MCC does not offer an MBBS program as a part of its curriculum. It offers various other non-medical UG and PG programs. Some of them are B.Sc., BBA, BA, B.Com, MCA, PG Diploma, etc.
