Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is known as MITS, also called Madhav Engineering College. This is an autonomous college aided by the government. This institute was started in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in 1957.

The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in Engineering, Computer Application, and Architecture.  This institute follows a specific admissions procedure according to the relevant norms specified for each course.

UG Programs:

B.E & B.Arch. Admission procedure and Specialization

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science provides UG-level programs and offers B.E and B.Arch. Which are 4 years and 5 years duration courses respectively. Bachelors in Engineering programs have many specializations.

For Admission to UG programs, candidates should have minimum criteria.

  • 10+2 with Physics, mathematics, and chemistry has mandatory subjects from a recognized board.
  • Candidates should have appeared for JEE Main for B.E, a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of the secondary exam. This exam checks students' eligibility for various engineering colleges anywhere in the country. Candidates should apply online for JEE Mains.

MITS Gwalior is affiliated with RGPV Bhopal. UGC, NBA, and NAAC recognize it with a B++ Grade. The Madhav Institute Of Technology And Science Ranking NIRF was 251-300. UGC has also granted MITS autonomy status. Eligibility for B.Tech at MITS requires candidates to have completed 10+2. Selection for B.E admission at MITS is based on performance in the JEE. Candidates need to appear for the JEE examination. To apply, candidates should visit the official website of JEE and follow the online application process. Seat allotment will be done through MP Counselling, which DTE Madhya Pradesh administers. Madhav Institute of Technology and Science cutoff for the GC ranges from 73921 to 1055923 rank.

To find admission in some good engineering colleges to do the B.tech course, we must appear and score well in the JEE Main. We need to score the suitable cut-off to get admission to the desired branch. Madhav Institute of Technology and Science admissions will totally depend on the cut-off marks of the college.

The basic eligibility is to have passed 10+2 board exams with min of 75% marks or its equivalent. Selections will be based on JEE Main scores and counseling results.
