Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT), Bhopal, was started in 1993 as a self-financing institute in Madhya Pradesh. The College has been providing Engineering and Management programs at UG and PG levels to affiliation to RGPV, Bhopal. The programs offered are B.Tech and M.Tech with nine and seven specializations, respectively.
The Admission procedure in the College is carried through Entrance exams. The College also accepts lateral entry to specific programs offered. After the Entrance exam results are announced, the students will have to visit the official page of the College for updates regarding admissions.
LNCT, Bhopal B.Tech Admissions:
The College offers a B.Tech program with nine specializations for four years. The students with 10+2 in Science stream with Mathematics & Physics subject compulsorily with 45% marks in English medium can apply for the program. The students will be selected for admissions based on JEE Main score, followed by counseling.
The College even accepts admission to 2nd-year B.Tech for students with a Diploma Engineering or B.Sc. degree with a minimum percentile.

LNCT, Bhopal M.Tech Admissions:
The students with basic eligibility for Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the applicable stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized board are provided with Admission to the M.Tech program. The final selection process will be based on the MP GATE exam score.

LNCT, Bhopal MCA, and MBA Admissions:
MCA – The students must have an essential Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% marks and a 10+2 level education in mathematics. And the selection process will be based on the MP Pre MCA test score.
MBA – Students with bachelor’s degrees in any stream with 50% marks will be eligible to apply for admission to the MBA program. The access will be made based on the marks obtained in the CAT exam.

Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT) is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGPV Bhopal) and is approved by AICTE. Eligibility for B. Tech requires 45% in 12th (40% for OBC/SC/ST MP domicile). Seats for State Quota (75%) were chosen through MP PET (CG-VYAPAM), and All India Quota (10%) through AIEEE (JEE). In addition, Management Quota (15%) through PET or AIEEE. LNCT accepts admissions for regular UG courses through PET or AIEEE. Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Bhopal cutoff for General Category in 2023 ranged from 136225 to 1105600 rank. Applicants can apply for Management Quota after the result declaration through newspaper ads and the website.
Merit list will be prepared according to the rank and our 12th academic marks. I was selected for the Lakshmi Narain College of Technology admissions on the basis of JEE main ranking. Other than this we could also take direct admission under the management quota.
I have opted BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering and right now am in final year. I paid the fee around 98,000 for 1st year and the fee is same for remaining years hence the total fee charges approximate 3.9 Lakhs. LNCT, Bhopal admissions will be granted on the basis of JEE Main Score. College also provides certain scholarship facility based on the categories. Hostel facilities are pretty good and mess offers quality of food.
