Katihar Medical College provides UG courses like MBBS with a duration of 4.5 years and one year of internship and PG courses like MD in 12 specializations, MS in 6 disciplines with three years, and Diploma 2 years.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MBBS:

  • The student must have passed in 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% of marks with PCB as subjects and 40% for SC and ST category students from a recognized board to be eligible for the MBBS course in Katihar Medical College.

Katihar Medical College cut-off marks in the NEET should be met for students to get admission for MBBS. If the marks are below or lower than the minimum cut-off marks then the seat provided will be private seat for which the fee will be very high. For the MBBS admission one must have mandatorily appeared for the NEET But the admission quota seat will be as per the ranking of the NEET. We must also apply for this college through the UGMAC in the BCECEB website for the online or offline registration. We must fill the application form there in order to get the admissions in this institute.
