According to the Kashmir University admission criteria, students seeking admission to full-time 4-year B. Tech programs must gain more than 50% aggregate marks in the previous qualifying exams in relevant subjects like mathematics, chemistry, physics, and English.

In contrast to other UG programs at the University, admission to full-time BVA (Bachelor's in Visual Arts) and B. Voc (Bachelor's in Vocational Studies) programs require only securing good merit in the previous qualifying exams. So, candidates must aim for more than 50% aggregate marks in their class 12th/Pre-University exams and that from recognized boards and in relevant subjects like English and Arts. The University of Kashmir UG Admission is available to the 3-year BBA and B.
